 Տեղի ունեցավ  «Հայաստանի հրաձգության ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի գավաթ» մրցաշարի բացման արարողությունը:  

Հայաստանի հրաձգության ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ Արթուր Հովհաննիսյանի կողմից մրցաշարը կազմակերպվում է արդեն 3-րդ անգամ: Նա տարեկան 2 մրցաշար է կազմակերպում, որից մեկը` լեգենդար մարզուհի Զ. Սիմոնյանի հիշատակին նվիրված:

Այս մասին տեղեկացնում է հրաձգության ֆեդերացիան: «Ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի գավաթ»-ին մասնակցող 65 մարզիկները ներկայացնում են Յուրի և Զինաիդա Սիմոնյանների անվան հրաձգության մրազադպրոցը, Երևանի հրաձգության մանկապատանեկան մարզադպրոցը, Հրաձգության  հանրապետական մարզադպրոցը, Գյումրու քաղաքապետարանի հրաձգության մարզադպրոցը, Վանաձորի թիմը և անկախ Հայաստանի պատմության մեջ առաջին անգամ թիմով է հանդես գալիս Բանակի կենտրոնական մարզական ակումբը: Ուժեղագույն մարզիկները, որոնք զորա կոչվել էին ՀՀ բանակ, այժմ ներկայացնում են Բանակի կենտրոնական մարզական ակումբը:

Այս մրցաշարին, բացի ավանդական վարժություններից, հանրապետությունում 2-րդ անգամ մարզիկները կկրակեն «բլից» վարժաձևում, որն ընդունված է միջազգային պրակտիկայում:  Վարժության առաջին փորձը կատարվել է 2013թ.-ին` նույն մրցաշարում:

Մրցաշարից մրցաշար նոր հորիզոններ է գրավում հրաձգություն մարզաձևը, ինչը ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի և մարզական կոլեկտիվի քրտնաջան աշխատանքի արդյունքն է:

Ֆեդերացիայի նախագահն ու ավագ մարզիչ Սեյրան Նիկողոսյանը հանդես եկան զեկույցով, որի ժամանակ շնորհավերեցին մրցման մեկնարկի կապակցությամբ, մարզիկներին հորդորեցին լուրջ վերաբերվել մրցաշարին, քանի որ մրցաշարից հետո հայտնի կդառնա 2016թ. Հայաստանի հավաքական թիմի կազմը: Նրանք նաև նշեցին, որ հպարտությամբ և հուզմունքով են նայում մեր մարզիկներին, ովքեր զորակոչվել են բանակ և այժմ համազգեստ են կրում:
