Այդ մասին հոկտեմբերի 16-ին Ղազախստանում որոշումը կայացրել են Եվրասիական տնտեսական բարձրագույն խորհրդի նիստում: 

«Մենք որոշում ենք ընդունել, որ եկող տարվա փետրվարի 1-ից Հայաստանը կնախագահի Եվրասիական տնտեսական հանձնաժողովի կոլեգիան, իսկ Տիգրան Սուրենի Սարգսյանը` Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախկին վարչապետը կզբաղեցնի կոլեգիայի նախագահի պաշտոնը:

Սարգսյանի թեկնածությունը պաշտպանել Է նաեւ ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը, որը ժամանակին աշխատել է Տիգրան Սարգսյանի հետ: Շատ առաջադեմ մասնագետ Է, ուստի մենք նույնպես նրան նշանակեցինք այդ հանձնաժողովի ն ախագահ»,- ՏԱՍՍ-ի հաղորդմամբ` նշել է Բելառուսի նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոն:
