Ճապոնիայի Սիկոկու կղզում գտնվող Էհիմե պրեֆեկտուրայի նահանգապետ Տոկիհիրո Նակամուրան հոկտեմբերի 26-ին պաշտոնապես թուրլատրել Է «Իկատա» ատոմային Էլեկտրակայանի թիվ 3  միջուկային ռեակտորի աշխատանքի վերսկսումը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով NHK ճապոնական հեռուստաալիքին:

«Ավելի լավ կլինի ունենալ ատոմակայան: Մինչ այժմ մենք այլ ընտրություն չունենք, քան անվտանգության առավել ժամանակակից ստանդարտները կիրառելը եւ դրանցով ապրելը, քանի դեռ միջուկային Էներգիայի այլընտրանք չենք գտել»,- ասել Է նահանգապետը մամուլի ասուլիսում:

Թիվ 3 ռեակտորը կարող Է դառնալ երրորդ ռեակտորը, որ Ճապոնիայում կվերսկսի աշխատել 2011 թվականին «Ֆուկուսիմա-1» ատոմակայանում տեղի ունեցած վթարից հետո: 

Ինչպես իրենց հերթին նշում են արեւմտյան ԶԼՄ-ները, նահանգապետի թույլտվությունը գլխավորն Է այն բանի համար, որ ԱԷԿ-ների Shikoku Electric Power գործարկու ընկերությունը կարողանա վերագործարկել «Իկատա» ատոմակայանի թիվ 3 ռեակտորը:

Ավելի վաղ Shikoku Electric Power ընկերությունը վերագործարկել Է Կյուսյու կղզու Կագոսիմա պրեֆեկտուրայում գտնվող «Սենդայ» ԱԷԿ-ի առաջին եւ երկրորդ բլոկները, հաղորդել Է «Ինտերֆաքս» գործակալությունը:
