Արոտավայրերի պարարտացումը վտանգավոր է, քանի որ այն կարող է բերել հացազգիների առավել բուռն աճին: Դրա հետևանքով վտանգի առաջ կհայտնվեն ալպիական մարգագետիններում աճող շատ հազվագյուտ բուսատեսակներ:

Այս մասին հոկտեմբերի 28-ին «Արոտավայրերի ներկա վիճակն ու դրանց արդյունավետ կառավարմանն ուղղված միջոցառումները Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում» թեմայով համաժողովի ընթացքում ասաց ՀՀ բնապահպանության նախարարության կենսառեսուրսների կառավարման գործակալության պետ Արտաշես Զիրոյանը:

«Հայաստանի արոտավայրերում աճող մոտ 3800 տեսակներից շուրջ  2000-ը համարվում են օգտակար բույսեր, դրանք արոտավայրերում օգտագործվում են հիմնականում որպես կեր: Արոտավայրերի կառավարման խնդիրը շատ կարևոր է հանրապետությունում` հաշվի առնելով այն հանգամանքը, որ կենսաբազմազանության խնդիրն այսօր պետք է առաջին տեղում լինի: Կենսաբազմազանության կազմում է նաև արոտավայրերում եղած մեր բուսական ֆոնդը, հետևաբար պետք է պահպանենք այն ինչ ունենք և կայուն օգտագործենք այն», - «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` ասաց Արտաշես Զիրոյանը:

Բնապահպանության նախարարության կենսառեսուրսների կառավարման գործակալության պետը նաև տեղեկացևեց, որ խորհրդային տարիներին ուսումնասիրվել էին արոտավայրերի կառավարման և պլանավորման խնդիրները, սակայն վերջին 20-25 տարիների ընթացքում արոտավայրերում իրավիճակի մեծ փոփոխություն տեղի չի ունեցել՝ հաշվի առնելով անասնագլխաքանակի կտրուկ  նվազումը:

Մասնագետը կոչ արեց համապատասխան մարմիններին միասնական աշխատել Հայաստանի արոտավայրերի կառավարման և անասնապահության զարգացման խթանման համար, ինչի արդյունքում հնարավոր կլինի նվազագույն վնաս հասցնել հազարավոր տարիների ընթացքում ստեղծված արոտավայրերի բուսական աշխարհին:
