 ՀՀ փոխվարչապետ Վաչե Գաբրիելյանի նախագահությամբ կայացել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում մարդկանց թրաֆիքինգի և շահագործման դեմ պայքարի հարցերով խորհրդի նիստը, որին մասնակցել են ՀՀ կառավարության, միջազգային և տեղական հասարակական կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչները, ներկա է եղել Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ դեսպանը։

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Թրաֆիքինգի և շահագործման դեմ պայքարի հարցերով աշխատանքային խմբի ղեկավար Վահրամ Կաժոյանը ներկայացրել է  ՀՀ-ում մարդկանց թրաֆիքինգի և շահագործման դեմ պայքարի ուղղությամբ 2015թ. առաջին կիսամյակի ընթացքում կատարված աշխատանքների, ոլորտի լուսաբանման համար 2015թ. անցկացվելիք մրցանակաբաշխության և այլ հարցերի մասին տեղեկատվություն:

Նիստի ընթացքում տեղեկացվել է, որ ՀՀ-ում մարդկանց թրաֆիքինգի և շահագործման դեմ պայքարի 2016-2018թթ. ազգային ծրագիրը շուտով կներկայացվի խորհրդի քննարկմանը։ Վահրամ Կաժոյանը հայտնել է, որ Հայաստանն արդեն երրորդ տարին անընդմեջ, ըստ ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարության մարդկանց թրաֆիքինգի դեմ պայքարի տարեկան զեկույցի,  դասվում է առաջին խմբի երկրների շարքին: Ընդ որում, տարածաշրջանում Հայաստանը միակ երկիրն է, որ դասվել է առաջին խմբին։ Հայաստանը նույնատիպ հաջողություններ է գրանցել նաև Եվրոպայի խորհրդի մարդկանց շահագործման (թրաֆիքինգի) դեմ պայքարի փորձագ իտական խմբի (GRETA) տարեկան զեկույցում:

Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլսն իր ելույթում նախ շնորհավորել է խորհրդին ձեռք բերած հաջողությունների համար` ևս մեկ անգամ կարևորելով ՀՀ կառավարության և ՀԿ-ների համագործակցությունը: Դեսպանը նշել է, որ այդ առումով Հայաստանը թրաֆիքինգի դեմ պայքարում կարող է մոդել հանդիսանալ այլ երկրների համար:

Խորհուրդը որոշել է մրցանակաբաշխության սկիզբը հայտարարել 2015թ․ նոյեմբերի 2-ը, իսկ արդյունքներն ամփոփել մեկ ամիս անց: Նիստում քննարկվել են նաև այլ հարցեր։
