Թուրքիայի ղեկավարությունը` պետության նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի գլխավորությամբ, վերջին շրջանում խիստ նկատելի հիստերիկ ցնցումների մեջ է: Պատճառներն իհարկե շատ են` գեոպոլիտիկ դաշտում զարգացումներն ընթանում են Թուրքիայի պլաններին ճիշտ հակառակ: Տվյալ պետությանը հասցված վերջին հարվածներից մեկն էլ քրդերի հայտարարությունն էր այն մասին, թե իրենք Սիրիայի հյուսիսում պատրաստվում են նոր նահանգ ստեղծել, ինչն Էրդողանը գնահատել է որպես սպառնալիք իր պետության անվտանգությանը:

Էրդողանի հայտարարության վերաբերյալ Orer.am-ը զրուցեց ԱԺ արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի անդամ Համլետ Հարությունյանի հետ, ով նշեց, թե քրդական ցանկացած նախաձեռնություն Թուրքիան շատ թշնամաբար է ընդունում՝ անկախ նրանից, թե այդ անկախ հատվածը Սիրիայի, Իրաքի, թե այլ պետության տարածքում կձեւավորվի: «Թուրքերին ձեռ չի տալիս, որ քրդերն ունենան անկախ ինչ-որ կառավարման համակարգ, դե պետության մասին էլ չեմ խոսում: Պարզ է, որ քրդական նման ձգտումները մշտապես արժանանալու են Թուրքիայի կոշտ ընդդիմությանը»,- նշեց պատգամավորը:

Համլետ Հարությունյանը նաեւ հավելեց, որ թուրքական կառավարությունը կդիմի հնարավոր բոլոր քայլերին, որպեսզի քրդերն ավելի չմիավորվեն ու հզորանան: «Քրդական պետականության կազմավորումը Թուրքիայի համար մեծ սպառնալիք է համարվում, որովհետեւ քրդերը չեն սահմանափակվում միայն իրենց ունեցածով եւ պահանջում են քրդական անկախ պետականություն, որն էլ փորձում են տարածել Թուրքիայի ողջ տարածքում: Հարկ եմ համարում նշել, որ Թուրքիան գնալու է հնարավոր բոլոր մեթոդներին եւ միջոցներին, որպեսզի թույլ չտա, որ քրդերը հասնեն իրենց նպատակին: Թուրքիան այսօր արդեն իսկ երկրի ներսում բավական խիստ միջոցների է դիմում՝ փորձելով ճնշել քրդերին եւ սա դեռ սկիզբն է»,- ասաց նա:
