Կլիմայի գլոբալ տաքացումը հարուցում Է ոչ միայն ձյան հալում եւ համաշխարհային օվկիանոսի մակարդակի բարձրացում, այլեւ նպաստում Է այնպիսի տարերային աղետների առաջացմանը, ինչպսիք են երաշտը եւ հեղեղումները:

Այս եզրակացությունն Է բովանդակում այն նոր հետազոտություն ը, որը պատրաստել Է ԱՄՆ-ի Օվկիանոսի եւ մթնոլորտի ուսումնասիրման ազգային վարչությունը՝ տարբեր երկրների մի քանի տասնյակ գիտնականների մասնակցությամբ:   

Ինչպես նշված Է 180-Էջանոց զեկույցում, որը նոյեմբերի 5-ին տարածվել Է Վաշինգտոնում, 2014 թվականին գրանցված 28 խոշոր եղանակային անոմալիաների կեսը տեղի Է ունեցել մեր մոլորակի  կլիմայի փոփոխման ներգործության ներքո: Մասնագետները կարծում են, որ կլիմայական գործոնն Էքստրեմալ երեւույթների սկզբնապատճառ չի եղել, բայց ակնհայտորեն նպաստել Է դրանց մասշտաբների մեծացմանը եւ ինտենսիվության ուժեղացմանը:   

Փորձագետների դիտարկմամբ՝ գլոբալ տաքացման հետքերը դրսեւորվել են Խաղաղ օվկիանոսում արեւադարձային ցիկլոնները, Եվրոպայում, Չինաստանում, Հարավային Կորեայում եւ Արգենտինայում ամառային արտասովոր բարձր ջերմաստիճաններն, ինչպես նաեւ ԱՄՆ-ի Կալիֆոռնիայի նահանգում անտառային հրդեհներն ուսումնասիրելիս: Զեկույցում նշված Է, որ կլիմայական փոփոխությունները կատալիզատոր են ծառայել Աֆրիկայում եւ Մերձավոր Արեւելքում երաշտի, Նեպալում ձնաբքերի եւ Կանադայում եւ Նոր Զելանդիայում տեղատարափ անձրեւների համար, որոնք  հեղեղումներ են առաջացրել, հաղորդե լ Է ՏԱՍՍ գործակալությունը:
