Այսօր Վանո Սիրադեղյանի ծննդյան օրն է:

Կոթիգյուղցի Վանո Սիրադեղյանը՝ հրաշալի արձակագիրը, անհավատալի բառամթերքի կրողը, գարեջրատան հարմարավետ հարթակը փոխարինեց քաղաքական հարթակով: Վանոյի տեսակը չէր կարող իջնել ջրի հատակը, որովհետև համազգային խնդիրը պիտի նրան շպրտեր քաղաքական դիսկոմֆորտի մեջ:

Ես չեմ պնդում, որ Վանոն սուրբ է եղել, բայց չենք կարող չընդունել, որ նա իր քաղաքական գործունեությունը ծավալում էր քրեական տարրերի աննախադեպ ծաղկման ժամանակաշրջանում և պայքարի բեռը իր ուսերին կրում էր գրեթե միայնակ:

Նրա քաղաքական պարտնյորների մի մասը զբաղված էր Արցախյան պատերազմով, մյուս մասը՝ երկիրը թալանելով: Թալանչիների այդ ոհմակը առ այսօր շարունակում է ինքնամոռաց որոճումը իշխանության տարաբնույթ օղակներում, իսկ վանոյական նկարագրի տեր մարդիկ մնացին չգնահատված՝ լքելով հայրենիքը կամ թաղվելով պատմության փոշիների տակ... Մինչդեռ այդ մասշտաբի մտավորականներ մենք գրեթե չունենք, և մտավորականների այդ հրաշալի սերնդի լռությունը հող է ստեղծում զուգարանային ստեղծագործողների այն խառնամբոխի համար, որոնք ձևավորում են մեր քաղաքական և մշակութային ՞էլիտան՞...

Վանոն հաղթեց ոչ միայն միտինգային ճակատում, իր ընկերների հետ ոչ միայն հաղթեց Ղարաբաղում, այլ պատերազմ հայտարարեց երկրի ներքին թշնամուն, բարդակին, անիշխանությանը... և ԱՊՀ երկրներում առաջինը և միակն էր, որ այդ ծանր տարիներին հաղթող դուրս եկավ այդ ճակատում...

Ըմբոստ մտավորականը, որը տարիներ առաջ պայքարի դուրս եկավ հայ ժողովրդի իրավունքների համար՝ իր իսկ հիմնադրած պետության ներսում քաղաքական վտարանդի դարձավ:

Հայոց պատմությունը լի է օրինակներով, երբ այսրոպեական քաղաքական շահի համար զոհել են ժամանակաշրջանի ամենավառ անհատականություններին: Վանոն չէր կարող այդ անհատականություններից մեկը չլիներ, որովհետև Վանոյի մարդկային տեսակը չէր կարող վտարանդի չդառնալ: Ոչնչությունները պետք է նրան վտարեին, որպեսզի Վանոյին փոխարինողների ֆոնին իրենց ոչնչությունը գոնե միջակություն երևա...
