Հայաստանը պետք է կարողանա բացատրել եվրոպացի գործընկերներին, որ Եվրոպայի խորհրդի խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի քաղաքական հանձնաժողովի ընունած հակահայկական զեկույցի նման ցանկացած փաստաթղթի  ընդունում Ադրբեջանի պահվածքն ավելի սանձարձակ է դարձնելու:  Ազգային ժողովում հայտարարությունների ժամին նման կարծիք հայտնեց ԱԺ ՀՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Կարեն Բեքարյանը՝ անդրադառնալով ԵԽԽՎ քաղաքական հանձնաժողովի կողմից ընդունած բրիտանացի պատգամավոր Ռոբերտ Ուոլթերի՝  «Բռնությունների աճը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում և Ադրբեջանի այլ գրավյալ տարածքներում» խորագրով հակահայկական զեկույցի ընդունմանը: 

«Մենք կարիք ունենք եվրոպացի մեր գործընկերների մոտ տեղ հասցնել այն խնդիրը, որ նման զեկույցները, բանաձևերը այսպես թե այնպես վեր են ածվում անվտանգության և հումանիտար խնդրի՝ շատ պարզ պատճառաբանությամբ: Ադրբեջանի պահվածքը ցանկացած նման զեկույցի ընդունումից հետո դառնալու է ավելի սանձարձակ, իսկ այդ սանձարձակությունն արտահայտվելու է թե ՛ բանակցությունների ընթացքում, թե՛ հռետորաբանության մեջ, թե հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին և ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում, խլելու է մարդկային կյանքեր՝ այդ թվում նաև ադրբեջանցիների: Այսինքն՝ սա պետք է դառնա այն հիմնական թեզը, որի վրա պետք է հրավիրել մեր եվրոպացի գործընկերների ուշադրությունը»,- ընդգծեց Բեքարյանը:

Պատգամավորը նշեց, որ Հայաստանը բոլոր հնարավոր խողովակներով փորձում է հասկացնել Եվրոպային, որ պետք չէ ոչ հավասարակշռված քայլերով որևէ կերպ բարիկադավորել Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը Եվրոպայի խորհրդից: 

«Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը Եվրոպայի խորհրդի լիիրավ անդամ է, և նման բարիկադը նշանակում է բարիկադ մեր ու մեր մեջ: Հենց այս տեսանկյունից ես ցանկանում եմ կոչով դիմել մեր գործընկերներին: Մի նպաստեք այդ բարիկադավորման գործընթացին, որովհետև ժամանակ առ ժամանակ հասկանալի բարկությունը կարող է բերել որոշակի արտահայտությունների, որոնք գ ծում են այդ բարիկադների եզրերը»,- մանրամասնեց Բեքարյանը:

Նա նաև կոչ արեց միմյանցից հստակ տարանջատել իրավիճակի գնահատումը ԵԽԽՎ հայաստանյան պատվիրակության անդամների աշխատանքի գնահատումից: 

«Մենք պետք է պատկերացնենք, որ աշխարհաքաղաքական տարբեր զարգացումների և ընթացիկ գործընթացների արդյունքում իրավիճակն անընդհատվ կարիք ունի վերանայման և դրանից բխող որոշակի քայլերի ու գործողությունների: Իրավիճակի գնահատում է մեզ պետք, ոչ թե ԵԽԽՎ հայաստանյան պատվիրակության անդամների աշխատանքի գնահատում:

Որովհետև հիմա դրա ժամանակը չէ, գնահատելու համար պետք է սկզբում լինի ռազմավարություն, ամրագրված սկզբունքներ, հաշվելի արդյունավետության խնդիրներ ու նոր միայն գնահատում: Եթե մենք հիմա չկոնսոլիդացնենք մեր ուժերը պատասխանը տալու համար, մի բացառեք, որ կարող ենք այս խնդիրը ունենալ այլ միջազգային կառույցներում ևս»,- եզրափակեց պատգամավորը:
