Երևանն աշխարհի ամենագեղեցիկ կանանց ու ամենաշատախոս տաքսիստների քաղաքն է

Ռուսական միայն երկու քաղաք (Մոսկվան ու Պիտերը) Երևանի համեմատ էականորեն ավելի մեծ բնակչություն ունեն։ Ռուսական ևս մի քանի քաղաք ունի գրեթե նույնքան կամ նվազ բնակչություն, որքան Երևանը (ընդհանուր առմամբ, 144 միլիոնանոց ՌԴ-ում կա 15 միլիոնանոց քաղաք)։ 314 միլիոնանոց ԱՄՆ-ում միայն 4 քաղաք ունի Երևանից զգալիորեն մեծ բնակչություն (Նյու Յորք, Լոս, Չիկագո, Հյուստոն), ևս 5-ը ունեն գրեթե նույնքան բնակչություն, որքան Երևանը (ԱՄՆ-ում կա միլիոնանոց ընդամենը 9 քաղաք)։
7 միլիարդանոց աշխարհում կա միայն 40 մայրաքաղաք, որոնց բնակչությունն առնվազն կրկնակի գերազանցում է հայոց մայրաքաղաքի բնակչությունը, իսկ ևս 40-ը ունեն ավելի կամ փոքր ինչ ավելի՝ գրեթե նույնչափ բնակչություն։
Երևանում ավելի շատ մարդ է ապրում, քան ասենք Լիսաբոնում ու Կոպենհագենում միասին վերցրած։ Երևանը գրեթե նույնքան բնակիչ ունի, որքան եվրոպական երեք մայրաքաղաք՝ Տալլինը, Դուբլինն ու Բրատիսլավան միասին։ Երևանում կա ավելի շատ բնակիչ քան եվրոպական այլ մայրաքաղաքներում՝ Ստոկհոլմում, Օսլոյում, Ամստերդամում, Ռիգայում, Աթենքում (բուն քաղաքում), Հելսինկիում, Վիլնյուսում, Զագրեբում և մի շարք այլ խոշոր քաղաքներում՝ Նեապոլում, Թուրինում, Ֆրանկֆուրտում...

Երևանում ավելի շատ մարդ է ապրում, քան Թիֆլիսում, Բիշկեկում, Քիշինևում, Դուշանբեում, Աշխաբադում, Աստանայում...
...Կանադայի մայրաքաղաք Օտտավայում, ԱՄՆ մայրաքաղաքում, Երուսաղեմում (գրեթե 1.5 անգամ ավելի), Աբու Դաբիում, մակեդոնական Սկոպյեում...
