Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Ժան-Կլոդ Յունկերը նամակ է ուղարկել ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինին` ԵՄ-ի և Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության համագործակցության առաջարկով:

Այդ մասին TASS-ին տեղեկացրել են Եվրահանձնաժողովի մամուլի ծառայությունից: 

«Յունկերը նամակ է ուղարկել նախագահ Պուտինին` G-20-ի գագաթնաժողովի շրջանակում անցած երկուշաբթի ունեցած իրենց կարճատև զրույցից հետո»,- նշել է մամուլի ծառայությունը:

Եվրահանձնաժողովի ներկայացուցչի խոսքով` «նամակում ընդգծվում է Յունկերի պատրաստակամությունը` ԵԱՏՄ-ի հետ փոխգործակցությունը դիտարկելու հարցում, սահմանված կարգով և խորհրդակցությունների տեսքով` կազմակերպության անդամ-պետությունների հետ, մինսկյան համաձայնագրի իրականացման հետ միաժամանակ»:

Հոկտեմբերի կեսերին ՌԴ փոխարտգործնախարար Ալեքսեյ Մեշկովը  տեղեկացրել էր, որ ԵԱՏՄ երկրները, ավելի կոնկրետ ԵԱՏՄ հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Վիկտոր Խրիստենկոն Եվրահանձնաժողովի նախագահ Յունկերին է ուղարկել տնտեսական համագործակցության համաձայնագրի նախագիծը: Նրա խոսքով` այդ փաստաթուղթը վերաբերում է երկու կազմակերպությունների ինտեգրմանը: Համապատասխան առաջարկությունները հաստատվել էին սեպտեմբերի 8-ին տեղի ունեցած ԵԱՏՄ անդամ պետությունների կառավարությունների ղեկավարների հանդիպման ժամանակ:
