Կ. Ստանիսլավսկու անվան պետական ռուսական դրամատիկական թատրոնում կանցկացվի գրող-հրապարակախոս Զորի Բալայանի ծննդյան 80-ամյակին նվիրված երեկո: Դեկտեմբերի 2-ին անցկացվելիք միջոցառումը տեղի կունենա ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարարության աջակցությամբ: Ինչպես  տեղեկացրին ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարարության հասարակա յնության հետ կապերի բաժնից,երեկոյի ընթացքում կներկայացվի գրողի ստեղծագործական գործունեությանը նվիրված բեմականացում, որին կմասնակցեն անվանի դերասաններ և Երևանի թատրոնի և կինոյի պետական ինստիտուտի ուսանողներ:
Երեկոն կշարունակվի Զորի Բալայանի կյանքի և գործունեության մասին տեսաֆիմի ցուցադրությամբ, որը պարբերաբար կընդմիջվի հանրապետության լավագույն արտիստների, երգիչների և պարային համույթների ելույթներով:
Հոբելյանական երեկոյին շնորհավորական խոսքով հանդես կգան Զորի Բալայանի ընկերները և գործընկերները:

Արձակագիր, բժիշկ Զորի Բալայանը ծնվել է 1935թ. փետրվարի 10-ին, Ստեփանակերտում: Ավարտել է Ռուսաստանի Ռյազան քաղաքի բժշկական ինստիտուտը: 1963-73թթ Կամչատկայում աշխատել է որպես բժիշկ: «Վուլկան» և «Հայեզեր» նավակներով Կամչատկայից հասել է Օդեսա և Կամչատկայից, կտրելով Խաղաղ օվկիանոսը, հասել է Ատլանտյան օվկիանոս: Շնասահնակով անցնելով Կամչատկայի և Չուկոտկայի տունդրաները` հասել է մինչև Հյուսիսային օվկիանոս: Այս ճամփորդությունները դարձել են գրքեր: Արցախյան շարժման և արցախյան պատերազմի տարեգիրներից է: 1990թ. «Մոսկվա» հյուրանոցի իր համ արում հայտարարել է հացադուլ` պահանջելով վերականգնել ԼՂԻՄ-ի իրավա-վարչական մարմինները, նրա սահմանադրական իրավունքները: Գործուն մասնակցություն է ունեցել Արաքսից մինչ Օմարի լեռնանցք ընթացող ինքնապաշտպանական և ազատագրական մարտերի պլանների մշակման աշխատանքներին: 1972թ-ից Հայաստանի գրողների, հետագայում` Ժուռնալիստների միության անդամ է: Նրա «Բաց նամակ նորապսակներին» գրքույկը տպագրվել է 15 լեզուներով: 2004-12թթ «Կիլիկիա», ապա` «Արմենիա» նավերով ճանապարհորդել է միջնադարյան հայկական առևտրանավերի երթուղիներով:
