Բրազիլիայի խորհրդարանի ստորին պալատի նախագահ Էդուարդու Կունյան հայտարարել Է երկրի նախագահ Դիլմա Ռուսեֆի նկատմամբ իմպիչմենտի ընթացակարգի քննարկումն սկսվելու մասին, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով Reuters գործակալությանը:

«Ես որոշում եմ ընդունել սկսել Ռուսեֆի նկատմամբ իմպիչմենտի ընթացակարգի քննարկումը»,-հայտարարել Է խոսնակը:

Նախաձեռնության հեղինակները պետության ղեկավարին մեղադրում են ֆինանսական խախտումների մեջ, որոնք, նրանց կարծիքով, տեղ են գտել նրա նախորդ նախագահական ժամկետի ընթացքում: Հօգուտ Ռուսեֆի պաշտոնաթողության փաստաթուղթը որպես փաստարկ Է բերում Բրազիլիայի Ֆեդերալ հաշվիչ պալատի այն որոշումը, որը երկրի խորհրդարանին առաջարկել Է անհիմն ճանաչել 2014 թվականի համար կառավարության ֆինանսական հաշվետվությունը:

Ընդդիմությունը նաեւ պնդում Է, որ Ռուսեֆի կառավարությունը ֆինանսական խախտումները շարունակում Է նաեւ 2015 թվականին՝ արդեն նոր ժամկետով նախագահի վերընտրվելուց հետո:

Կունյայի որոշումից հետո նախաձեռնության քննարկման համար կկազմվի հատուկ հանձնաժողով, որում կընդգրկվեն խորհրդարանական բոլոր խմբակցությունների ներկայացուցիչները: Այնուհետեւ իմպիչմենտի գործընթացն սկսելու նպատակահարմարությունը կդրվի խորհրդարանի ստորին պալատի քվեարկությանը, որտեղ դրան հավանություն տալու համար պահանջվում Է պատգամավորների երկու երրորդի աջակցությունը, այսինքն՝ 342 ձայն, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
