Եթե մի երկրի իշխանությունները համառորեն չեն ուզում գիտակցել, թե որ գործողություններն են բխում սեփական երկրի և ազգի շահերից, դա կարող է նշանակել, որ նրանք պարզապես ուղղորդվում են մեկ այլ՝ ավելի հզոր պետության իշխանությունների կողմից:

Ֆրանսիան տևական ժամանակ ԱՄՆ-ի ազդեցության ներքո Մերձավոր արևելքում սխալ քաղաքականություն վարելու, Սիրիայի անջատողականներին աջակցելու արդյունքում ստացավ վերջին ահաբեկչական ակտը Փարիզում, ինչը նվազագույնը պետք է դաս լիներ Ֆրանսիայի իշխանությունների համար և ստիպեր նրանց վերանայել իրենց մոտեցումները:

Տրամաբանորեն, Ֆրանսիայի իշխանությունները Ռուսաստանի հետ համագործակցությամբ պետք է ուժեղացնեին իրենց պայքարը ոչ միայն ԴԱԻՇ-ի, այլև Մերձավոր արևելքում բոլոր ծայրահեղ իսլամիստական խմբավորումների դեմ, այդ թվում՝ Սիրիայի ընդդիմության կազմի մեջ մտնող ծայրահեղական խմբավորումների:

Ռուսաստանհի հետ համագործակցությունն այդ հարցում կարծես թե կյանքի կոչվեց, սակայն, հաշվի առնելով, որ Ռուսաստանն աջակցում է Սիրիայի գործող նախագահ Բաշար Ասադին, նաև այն, որ իսլամիստների դեմ միակ ռեալ պայքարող ուժն Ասադի բանակն է, Ֆրանսիայի համար դա նույնպես պետք է ենթադրի համագործակցություն սիրիական զորքերի հետ: Այլ տարբերակով լիակատար հաղթանակի հասնելը երևի թե անհնար կլինի:

Եվ ահա, Ֆրանսիայի արտգործնախարար Լորան Ֆաբիուսը հայտարարել է, թե ֆրանսիացի զինվորականները կհամագործակցեն սիրիական զորքերի հետ ընդդեմ ԴԱԻՇ-ի, եթե հրամանատարությունից հեռանա Բաշար Ասադը:

Սա ուղղակի նշանակում է, որ ֆրանսիացի զինվորականները չեն համագործակցի սիրիական զորքերի հետ, որովհետև Սիրիայի բնակչության զգալի մասը Ասադի հեռացումը չի ցանկանում, հետևաբար, սիրիական զորքերի՝ այլ հրամանատար ունենալու տարբերակը կարելի է բացառել: Մանավանդ պետք է հաշվի առնել, որ Ասադի հեռացման համար Սիրիայում պայքարողների մեծ մասը ևս ծայրահեղ հոսանքների ներկայացուցիչներ են, այսինքն՝ առանց Ասադի սիրիական զորքերը հայտնի չէ, թե ում կողմից կլինեն:
