Երկուշաբթի կեսօրին Տաջիկստանի արևելքում գտնվող բարձրլեռնային Սարեզ լճից 22 կմ հեռավորության վրա գտնվող Լեռնային Բադաղշան ինքնավար մարզում տեղի ունեցած 10 բալանոց երկրաշարժի հետևանքով ամենից շատ ավերածություններ եղել են Մուրգաբսկի և Բարտանսի շրջաններում:

Հզոր երկրաշարժի հետևանքով զոհված և վնասվածքներ ստացած մարդկանց թիվը դեռ պարզ չէ: Նախնական տեղեկությունների համաձայն՝ ավերվել են նաև դպրոցներ, բնակելի շենքեր և բուժհաստատություններ: Բասիդ գյուղական համայնքում փլվել է սարի մի հատվածը և թափվել բնակելի տների վրա:

Այս պահին թեև մահացածների և անհետ կորածների մասին տեղեկություններ չկան, սակայն, տեղի աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ, շատերը հասցրել են պատսպարվել: Առաջին ուժգին ցնցմանը հաջորդել է մի քանի ավելի թույլ հետցնցում, որի ուժգնությունը էպիկենտրոնում կազմել է 4,8-5,4 բալ: Իրավիճակը սրվել է բջջային կապի խափանման պատճառով, որի հետևանքով տուժածների մասին տեղեկություններն ավելի դանդաղ են ստացվում:

Ի դեպ, լեռնային Սարեզ լիճն անվանում են Կենտրոնական Ասիայի «քնած վիշապը», որն առաջացել է 1911 թվականի 7 բալանոց երկրաշարժի հետևանքով: Մասնագետների հաշվարկները ցույց են տվել, որ լճի հողային մակերևույթի ճեղքման հետևանքով լիճը կարող է հեղեղել Տաջիկստանի մի մասը, Ուզբեկստանը, Ղրղըզստանը, Աֆղանստանը և Թուրքմենստանը, որի հետևանքով կարող է 5 մլնից ավելի մարդ տուժել:

«Բի-բի-սի» լրատվական գործակալության տեղեկացմամբ՝ եղանակային անբարենպաստ պայմանների պատճառով տուժածներին տրամադրվող մարդասիրական օգնություն ցուցաբերելը բավականին բարդ է, իսկ որոնողափրկարարական աշխատանքները շատ տեղերում իրականացվում են ձեռքով:

Տաջիկստանի մայրաքաղաք Դուշանբեում թեև զգացվել են ցնցումները, սակայն, այնտեղ ավերածություններ տեղի չեն ունեցել: Ստորգետնյա ցնցումները զգացվել են նաև Պակիստանում, Հնդկաստանում և Կենտրոնական Ասիայում:

Ի դեպ, այս տարվա հոկտեմբերին Կենտրոնական Ասիայում տեղի ունեցած ուժեղ երկրաշարժը հարյուրավոր մարդկանց կյանք է խլել, իսկ նախորդ ավերիչ երկրաշարժը Տաջիկստանի տարածքում գրացվել է 1949 թվականին, որը 30 հազար մարդու մահվան պատճառ է դարձել:
