 «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորումը 2015 թվականի ընթացքում կորցրել Է այն տարածքի 14 տոկոսը (12,8 հազար քառակուսի կիլոմետր), որն ավելի վաղ հսկողության տակ Էր պահում: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հաղորդվում Է HIS հետազոտական կենտրոնի հաշվետվության մեջ, որը կազմվել Է ըստ բաց աղբյուրն երից ստացված տեղեկատվության:

2015 թվականի հունվարի 1-ից մինչեւ դեկտեմբերի 14-ը, հետազոտության արդյունքների համաձայն, ծայրահեղական խմբավորումը ընդարձակ տարածքներից Է զրկվել Թուրքիայի հետ Սիրիայի հյուսիսային սահմանում, ներառյալ սահմանային այն անցակետը, որով ձգվում Է Էր Ռաքա տանող ճանապարհը, ասված Է կազմակերպության կայքում զետեղված հաշվետվության մեջ:
