Նա նշել է, որ Պերմյակովն իրեն պատշաճ է պահել փորձաքննության ընթացքում: «Ինքն իրեն պատշաճ էր պահում, նույնիսկ ինչ-որ պահ զգացի, որ շփման կարիք ունի, պատմում էր հանգիստ, ինտելեկտը ցածր էր, քննադատական միտքը նույնիսկ միջին մակարդակի չէր, բայց զղջանքի արտահայտություն էլ չզգացի դեմքի վրա: Շատ հանգիստ, ժպիտով էր մեզ հետ՝ հոգեբանների և ինձ հետ, և ուրախ էր, որ հանգիստ են խոսում իր հետ, մարդավարի, ուղղակի զրույցի ոճով ենք խոսել: Եվ ամբողջ գործողությունների պատճառաբանությունը հիմնականում հետևյալն էր, որ ինքը պարզապես չէր ցանկանում բանակում ծառայել, շատ էր կարոտել ծնողներին, այն հարազատ վայրը, որտեղ ինքն ապրել էր և այդպիսի պլան էր մշակել: Երբ ես հարցի՝ մենա՞կ ես արել, դա մի քիչ հավատալու չէ, որ այդ արագությամբ կարողանար բոլորին այդպես ոչնչացնել, ասաց՝ եթե մենակ էլ չլինեի, չէի ասի»,- ասաց Էլդա Գրինը:
