Հայաստանի ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեի գլխավոր քարտուղար Հրաչյա Ռոստոմյանը Բաքվում Եվրոպական խաղերին Հայաստանի մասնակցությունը շատ տեղին է համարում: Այս մասին նա հայտարարեց 2015-ի ամփոփիչ ասուլիսի ժամանակ: 

«Տարին շատ հագեցած էր. ունեինք երեք կարևորագույն միջոցառում՝ Եվրոպական խաղերը Բաքվում, ՀԱՕԿ-ի 25-ամյակը և մարզաշխարհի համար կարևոր «Օլիմպավան»-ի բացումը: Կյանքը ցույց տվեց, որ Բաքվի խաղերին մեր մասնակցությունը շատ տեղին էր: Այդ խաղերը մեր երկրի հեղինակությունը բարձրացրեցին ավելի բարձր մակարդակի»,-ասաց Հրաչյա Ռոստոմյանը: 

Անդրադառնալով «Օլիմպավան»-ին` Ռոստոմյանը նշեց, որ գերժամանակակից կենտրոնը վերջնական շահագործման կհանձնվի 2016 թվականի հունիսին: «Այնտեղ նաև մեր մարզաշխարհի խնդրանքով լողավազանի ու խաղային մարզադահլիճի կառուցման աշխատանքներ են ընթանում, որոնք ավելի ուշ սկսվեցին ու կավարտվեն հունիսի սկզբին: Այնտեղ լինելու է նաև ջրացատկի կենտրոն, ու հունիսից արդեն հավաքականի թիմերը կարող են մարզվել»,-տեղեկացրեց ՀԱՕԿ գլխավոր քարտուղարը:

Հարցին ի պատասխան, թե որն էր 2015-ի գլխավոր հիասթափությունը` Հրաչյա Ռոստոմյանը նշեց. «Հիասթափությունը վատ բառ է: ՀԱՕԿ-ում այդ բառը չկա: Սպասելիքներ կային մի քանի մարզաձևերից, սակայն չարդարացան: Մասնավորապես՝ բռնցքամարտը: Սակայն ես վստահ եմ՝ բռնցքամարտը դեռ իր ներուժը ցույց կտա»: Նա նկատեց, որ բռնցքամարտիկների համար դժվար է լինելու 2016 թվականին վարկանիշ ձեռք բերելը, քանի որ մի մրցաշարը Բաքվում է անցկացվելու, մյուսը` Ստամբուլում: «Մենք պետք է ամեն կերպ աջակցենք նրանց: Իմ ներքին համոզմամբ՝ Կարեն Աղամալյանը կկարողանա վարկանիշ բերել: Ճիշտ որոշում էր ֆեդերացիայի կողմից նրան գլխավոր մարզչի պաշտոնում նշանակելը»,-հավելեց Ռոստոմյանը:

Նա նաև անդրադարձավ Իտալիայի և Ֆրանսիայի հետ սպորտային համագործակցությանը ծավալմանը` նշելով, որ փորձի փոխանկման ծրագրեր կիրականացվեն:
