Հայաստանը ճկուն քաղաքականություն իրականացնելու դեպքում կարող է առարկայական օգուտներ քաղել տարածաշրջանային զարգացումներից: 

Նման կարծիք հայտնեց արաբագետ Արմեն Պետրոսյանը: Նա, մասնավորապես, նկատի ունի Ռուսաստան-Թուրքիա հարաբերությունների լարվածությունը, Իրան-Թուրքիա հարաբերությունների սրացումը:

«Օրինակ, կարևոր գործընթաց է Ռուսաստանի հետ հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգի ստեղծումը: Ռուսաստանի հետ պետք է աշխատել սպառազինություն ձեռքբերելու համար, որպեսզի ոչ միայն Թուրքիայի հետ սահմանը ամապնդվի: Դրանից բացի, Ռուսաստանն ու Իրանն ակտիվ դերակատարություն ունեն Սիրիայում: Հայաստանի համար դիվանագիտական հնարավորություններ են ստեղծվում առաջ քաշելու մեր համայնքի անվտանգության հարցերը: Հայաստանի դիվանագիտությունն այս ուղղությամբ անելիք ունի»,-ասաց Արմեն Պետրոսյանը:

Արաբագետ Սարգիս Գրիգորյանի խոսքով, Հայաստանը պետք է վեր հանի նաև ադրբեջանական գործոնը: «Անհրաժեշտ է միջազգային հանրությանը ցույց տալ, որ մեր հարևան երկրները, հատկապես Ադրբեջանը ներկայացված են սիրիական գործընթացներում: Մի քանի հարյուր ադրբեջանցիներ մարտնչում են Իսլամական պետության և այլ խմբավորումների շարքերում: Սա խոսում է այն մասին, որ Ադրբեջանը զերծ չի մնացել ծայրահեղ արմատական միտումներից: Այս մասին պետք է բարձրաձայնել և ընդգծել, որ Կովկասը կարող է պայթյունավտանգ դառնալ: Ուշ թե շուտ նրանք հետ են վերադառնում և չի բացառվում, որ Ադրբեջանը դառնա ծայրահեղական կենտրոններից մեկը»,-ասաց Սարգիս Գրիգորյանը:  

Անդրադառնալով Թուրքիայի գործողություններին և ահաբեկիչներին սատարելու վերաբերյալ Ռուսաստանի մեղադրանքներին` արաբագետ Արմեն Պետրոսյանը նշեց, որ միջազգային հանրությունը,  մասնավորապես, Արևմուտքը, մինչև Ռուսաստանի ապացույցները շատ լավ գիտեր, թե Թուրիքիան ինչ գործողություններ է իրականցնում: «Այնպես չէ, որ Արևմուտքը տեղեկացավ Ռուսաստանի ապացույցներից հետո: Անհնար էր տեղյակ չլինել, որ Թուրքիան նման քայլերի է գնում: Չէր խոսվում, որովհետև նրանց նպատակը Ռուսաստանին ուղղակի ներքաշելն էր հակամարտության մեջ: Դրանով Ռուսաստանը խոցելի է դառնում, հատկապես տնտեսական առումով»,-ավելացրեց  Արմեն Պետրոսյանը:

Սարգիս Գրիգորյան էլ ընդգծեց, որ Թուրքիան Սիրիայում ավելի խորքային գործընթացների մեջ է ներգրավված: Նա աջակցում է այն ուժերին, որոնք ավելի վտանգավոր են, քան Իսլամական պետությունը: Պատահական չէր, որ ինքնաթիռը խոցվեց այն հատվածում, որտեղ Իսլամական պետություն չկար: Թուրքիան այդ վտանգավոր խմբավորումներին աջակցելով` փորձում է լուծել քրդերի խնդիրը:  Այդ խմբավորումները պայքարում են քրդերի դեմ, իսկ Թուրքիան չի ընդունի իր սահմանին Քրդական պետության գոյությունը:
