Ընդամենը 2 օր առաջ Սաուդյան Արաբիայում 47 մարդու մահապատժի ենթարկեցին և առ այսօր ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից, ում ջանքերով, ի դեպ, բազմաթիվ երկրներում վերացվեց մահապատիժը, ոչ մի դատապարտող խոսք չի հնչել այդ մասին, էլ քայլերի մասին չեմ խոսում:

Պատկերացրեք, որ նման բան կատարվեր ԱՄՆ-ին ոչ դաշնակից մի երկրում. ես համոզված եմ, որ ամերիկյան զորքերն արդեն մտած կլինեին այդ երկիր՝ «դեմոկրատիա» հաստատելու «առաքելությամբ»: Իսկ Սաուդյան Արաբիայի դեպքում լռություն է, քանի որ Սաուդյան Արաբիան իրենց դաշնակիցն է, իսկ դաշնակիցը կարող է հանգիստ մասսայական մահապատիժներ էլ իրագործել, ոչ թե 47, այլ նույնիսկ 470, 4700 մարդու սպանել: Իրենց բիզնես-գործընկերն է, գործընկերոջը ամեն ինչ էլ կարելի է: Հետո վերջիվերջո մահապատիժը ԱՄՆ-ում էլ վերացված չէ:

Ասեմ ավելին, ես բնավ չեմ զարմանա, եթե ԱՄՆ-ն սկսի այս հարցում լկտիաբար մեղադրել Իրանին, որովհետև Իրանն է, որ իր դժգոհությունն է հյատնել կատարվածի վերաբերյալ, ինչի արդյունքում Սաուդյան Արաբիան խզել է դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունները Իրանի հետ, և այս ամենը կարող է վերածվել բավականին սուր հակամարտության:

Եվս մեկ ապացույց, որ արևմտյան տերությունների քարոզած «ժողովրդավարական արժեքները» հիմնված են միմիայն սեփական ֆինասական շահերի վրա:
