2015 թվականի գարնանից, երբ Հայաստանում Սահմանադրական հանրաքվե անցկացնելու մասին գործընթացը նոր թափ առավ, տեղեկություն տարածվեց, որ եթե Հայաստանում այն հաջող ընթանա, ապա ԼՂՀ-ում նույնպես նման փոփոխությունների կգնան: Կանխատեսումներն իրենց առանձնապես սպասել չտվեցին: ԼՂՀ վարչապետ, «Ազատ հայրենիք» կուսակցության ղեկավար Արայիկ Հարությունյանը շտապեց տեղեկացնել, որ եթե ԼՂՀ իշխանությունները և կուսակցությունները, իրոք, կամենում ենք խորքային մոտեցում ցուցաբերել առկա խնդիրների լուծմանը, ապա պետք է վերանայեն կառավարման գործող սկզբունքները:

«… Իսկ այդ սկզբունքների փոփոխությունը, իմ համոզմամբ, հնարավոր է միայն սահմանադրական փոփոխությունների միջոցով»,- ասել էր ԼՂՀ վարչապետը իր ղեկավարած կուսակցության համագումարի ժամանակ: Դեկտեմբերի 6-ին Հայաստանում անցկացված հանրաքվեն թեև անցնցում չանցավ, բայց այն այլևս իրողություն է: Ասել է, թե, եթե ԼՂՀ-ն սպասում էր Հայաստանին, ապա արդեն կարող է գործի անցնել: Ամենազավեշտալին, սակայն այն է, որ Հայաստանում ՀՅԴ կուսակցությունը սահմանադրական հանրաքվեի մասին խոսակցությունների մեկնարկից մինչ դրա «հաղթական» ավարտը կողմ էր արտահայտվում այդ հսկայածավալ փոփոխությանը, նշելով, որ երկրի կառավարման համակարգի փոփոխությունն իրենց կուսակցության ծրագրային դրույթներից է եղել, ինչին շատ երկար են սպասել: Իսկ ԼՂՀ-ում նմանօրինակ փոփոխությունը չգիտես ինչու նրանց քիմքով չէ: Ավելին, Orer.am-ին հասած տեղեկությունների համաձայն ԼՂՀ-ում սահմանադրական փոփոխություններին դեմ արտահայտվող կուսակցությունների մեջքին կանգնած է այդ նույն՝ ՀՅԴ կուսակցությունը: Ավելին, ՀՅԴ-ի ԼՂՀ-ական թևը ոչ միայն դեմ է արտահայտվում սահմանադրական փոփոխություններին, այլև նույնիսկ ֆինանսավորում է ընդդիմությանը:

Հարց է ծագում, որ եթե երկրի կառավարման մոդելի փոփոխությունը ՀՅԴ ծրագրային դրույթներից է, որին շատ երկար են սպասել դաշնակցականները, ապա ինչու է նույն քաղաքական ուժը ԼՂՀ-ում այլ վարքագիծ դրսևորում: Սակայն, որքան հացն է պարզունակ, այնքան էլ պատասխանն է տեսանելի:

Ստացվում է, որ ՀՅԴ-ն իրեն հատուկ ոճով, օգտվելով իր դարավոր փորձից, այս հարցում նույնպես փորձում է երկակի ստանդարտներ կիրառել և հանրաքվեի առիթն օգտագործել իր քաղաքական առևտուրը լիարժեք իրականացնելու համար: Այսքանից հետո մնում է եզրակացնել, որ ՀՅԴ-ի երազանքը ոչ թե երկրի կառավարման այս կամ այն համակարգն է, այլ ընդամենը իշխանական պորտֆել ստանալը, որն ամենայն հավանականության այնքան էլ բարեհագող չի ընթանում ԼՂՀ-ում: Ուստի հենց դա է պատճառը, որ ՀՅԴ-ն կուսակցական ցանկացած առևտրում կարող է նույնիսկ ինքնաբացասման ճանապարհով շարժվել՝ չխորշելով իր երկրոդ երեսն ավելի տեսանելի դարձնել:
