Մասաչուսեթսի տեխնոլոգիական ինստիտուտի ինժեներները ստեղծել են նոր, անձայն ռոբոտ-ընձառյուծ: Ավելի վաղ Պենտագոնի պատվերով «Boston Dynamics» ընկերությունում ստեղծվել էր այդ ռոբոտի նախատիպը: Սակայն նոր մշակումը խոստանում է զգալիորեն գերազանցել նախորդին: Մասաչուսեթսի ընձառյուծին արդեն փորձարկել են բաց տարածքում:

Ռոբոտի նախնական տարբերակի կատարելագործման համար գիտնականները ստիպված են եղել մի քանի բարդ խնդիր լուծել: Առաջին խնդիրը մարտկոցների տեղադրումն էր, որոնք մեծ տարողություն ունեին, որոնք սակայն չեն բարդացնում ռոբոտի ընթացքը: Մյուս խնդիրն իրական ժամանակում ընձառյուծի շարժումները կառավարող ծրագրի մշակման անհրաժեշտությունն էր, գրում է «DailyTechInfo»-ն:

Նորարարական տեխնոլոգիաների կիրառման արդյունքում իրականում ռոբոտը կարող է մինչեւ 16կմ/ժ արագություն զարգացնել, հաղորդում է «Newsru.com»-ը: Այն կարող է նաեւ մինչեւ 30սմ բարձրության խոչընդոտ հաղթահարել: Ռոբոտը կարող է մինչեւ 50 կմ/ժ արագություն զարգացնել, ուստի մոտ ժամանակներում նախատեսում են ռոբոտի արագությունը հասցնել այդ նիշին:

Բացի այդ, ի տարբերություն «Boston Dynamics» ընկերության ստեղծած համանման ռոբոտի, Մասաչուսեթսի ռոբոտն աշխատում է գրեթե անձայն եւ առանց ծուխ արձակելու:
