ԱՄՆ-ի այն երեք քաղաքացիները, որոնց Իրանի իշխանություններն ավելի վաղ ազատ Էին արձակել, ժամանել են Գերմանիա, որտեղ պետք Է բուժընթաց անցնեն: Այս մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է Արմենպրեսը, հայտնել Է ԱՄՆ-ի Պետդեպարտամենտի ներկայացուցիչը:

«Մենք կարող ենք հավաստել, որ ԱՄՆ-ի այն քաղաքացիները, որոնք այս (կիրակնօրյա) առավոտյան Իրանից մեկնել են բանտարկությունից ազատ արձակվելուց հետո, ժամանել են Գերմանիա»,- նրա խոսքը մեջբերում Է Reuters գործակալությունը:

Հունվարի 17-ին Շվեյցարիայի կողմից տրամադրված օդանավով Իրանից Բեռն են ժամանել ամերիկյան The Washington Post թերթի  թղթակից Ջեյսոն Ռեզայանն՝ իր տիկնոջ եւ մոր հետ, Այդահոյի նահանգից պաստոր Սայիդ Աբեդինին եւ Միչիգանի նահանգից նախկին ծովային հետեւակային Ամիրա Հեքմաթին:   

Գերմանիայում ԱՄՆ-ի ռազմակայանում նրանք, ինչպես սպասվում Է, բուժընթաց կանցնեն:

Իրանի իշխանություններն այդ մարդկանց ազատ են արձակել Թեհրանի եւ Վաշինգտոնի միջեւ ձեռք բերված համաձայնությանը համապատասխան: Փոխարենն ԱՄՆ-ը պետք Է Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետությանը հանձնի այդ երկրի յոթ քաղաքացիների, որոնց ձերբակալել են Միացյալ Նահանգների իշխանությունները: Բացի դրանից, ԱՄՆ-ի դատախազությունը համաձայնել Է հրաժարվել 14 իրանցիների դեմ արեւմտյան պատժամիջոցների խախտման մեղադրանքների առաջադրումից, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
