Сначала ты целых 9 месяцев вынашиваешь в себе маленькую жизнь, становишься огромной и неповоротливой, затем в родовых муках малыш появляется на свет. Ты глядишь в зеркало — и не узнаешь себя. Куда подевались стройная фигура и осиная талия?

По общественным давлениям женщина чувствует себя обязанной стать красивой идеальной мамочкой с модельной внешностью в сексуальном нижнем белье с обложек глянцевых журналов. Но всему свое время...

Именно поэтому новоиспеченная мать Эрика Эндрюс спустя 24 часа после родов вылезла из постели и сделала это что ни на есть самое естественное селфи возле зеркала.

Вот что женщина написала под своим снимком в Фейсбуке: «Вот как выглядит женщина спустя 24 после родов. Малыш мило спит в слинге близко к сердцу. Подгузники для взрослых... Я будто бы пробежала марафон и еще не отошла от вчерашнего. После рождения ребенка ты раскрываешься словно Земля после землетрясения. У меня всё болит... Я стала другой. На эмоциональном уровне.Меня переполняют чувства радости, благодарности, светлой меланхолии и грусти. 24 часа назад я привела в мир новую жизнь... Пустота в утробе заставляет меня столкнуться лицом к лицу с реальностью. Но когда малыш прислоняется ко мне, пытаясь найти грудь, я вновь наполняюсь...»

Искренность и честность, с которой Эрика писала всё это, заставили мам со всего мира забросать ее комментариями со словами поздравления, поддержки и благодарности. Просто многие женщины пережили все эти ощущения на собственной шкуре.

К восхвалению смелого поступка Эндрюс приобщился даже один мужчина: «Хвала женщинам, которые приводят в этот мир новую жизнь! Я собственными глазами видел, как рождался мой сын. И это было самое ужасающее и самое прекрасное событие, которое мне приходилось переживать...»
