Նախորդ տարին բավականին բարենպաստ էր գյուղատնտեսության համար: Այս ճյուղում գրանցված մեծ աճը իր դրական ազդեցությունն ունեցավ նաև երկրի տնտեսության վրա:
Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է ՀՀ գյուղատնտեսության նախարարությունը' 2016 թվականին Հայաստանից պտուղ-բանջարեղենի արտահանման հնարավոր ծավալները, բացասական գործոնների բացակայության դեպքում, նախորդ տարվա համեմատ կաճեն շուրջ 60 տոկոսով' կազմելով 120-125 հազար տոննա։ 2015-ին Հայաստանից արտահանվել է 76 հազար 678 տոննա պտուղ-բանջարեղեն։

Այս ամենում իհարկե իր դերը կունենա հունվարից ուժի մեջ մտած ռուսական արգելքները թուրքական ապրանքների նկատմամբ: Սա լավ հնարավորություն կստեղծի ավելացնել դեպի ՌԴ արտահանման ծավալները:

Ըստ գյուղատնտեսության նախարարի տեղակալ Ռոբերտ Մակարյանի այդ ուղղությամբ կատարվել են որոշակի աշխատանքներ, մասնավորապես, 2015թ. նոյեմբերի 27-ին և 30-ին ՀՀ գյուղատնտեսության նախարար Սերգո Կարապետյանը հրավիրել է գյուղարտադրանք արտահանողների մասնակցությամբ խորհրդակցություններ, այնուհետև նաև ՀՀ վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանի մոտ է կազմակերպվել մի քանի քննարկում։
Նշենք, որ 2015թ. ՀՀ-ից Ռուսաստան արտահանվել է 63 հազար 919 տոննա պտուղ-բանջարեղեն, որը կազմել է արտահանման ընդհանուր ծավալի շուրջ 83 տոկոսը, իսկ 2014թ. այդ երկիր արտահանվել է 21 հազար 537 տոննա, որը կազմել է արտահանման ընդհանուր ծավալի 45.5 տոկոսը։
