Ֆեյսբուքում հանդիպեցի մի քանի գրառումների, որտեղ հուզախառն ու պաթետիկ կերպով պաշտպանում էին բժիշկներին: Քննարկման հիմնական առարկան հետևյալն էր՝ բժիշկները կյանքեր են փրկում, իսկ դուք անշնորհակալ եք:

Ես ՖԲ-ում, սակայն, չհանդիպեցի մի գրառման, որտեղ մարդիկ կոչ են արել բժիշկների ընդհանուր ինկվիզիցիայի: Կան առանձին դեպքեր, որտեղ մեղավորներն ակնհայտ են, ու հանրային արձագանքը շատ նորմալ է: Պատկերացրեք մի իրավիճակ, որտեղ 1000 հոգու կյանք փրկած փրկարարը տեսնում է այրվող տուն ու ինքն իրեն մտածում է՝ «Դե հազար հոգու կյանք եմ փրկել, այս մեկին էլ կօգնեմ, բայց ոչ թե կրակը կմարեմ, այլ կասեմ, թե ինչպես մարի» ու բղավում է՝ «Ջուր լցրեք կրակի վրա, ջո՜ւր»: Ի վերջո, տունն այրվում է, ու մարդիկ մահանում են, այստեղ գործ ունենք փրկարարի հետ, ով իր գործողություններում թերացել է: Կյանք փրկելը կյանք կործանելու ո՛չ բարոյական ո՛չ էլ իրավաբանական հիմք չի տալիս:
