2009 թվականին սկիզբ առած «Արի տուն» ծրագիրը կշարունակվի նաև այս տարի: Սփյուռքի նախարարության ներկայացրած որոշման նախագիծը տեղ է գտել կառավարության առաջիկա հունվարի 29-ի նիստի օրակարգում:

2016թ. ծրագիրը մշակելիս հաշվի են առնվել 2009-2015թթ. ընթացքում իրականացված բոլոր փուլերի արդյունքները: «Արի տունը» նպատակ ունի աշխարհասփյուռ հայ երիտասարդների համար ճանաչելի դարձնել Հայաստան-հայրենիքը, աջակցել նրանց հայրենասիրական դաստիարակությանը, ներկայացնել հայ ժողովրդի սովորույթների և ավանդույթների, հայ ընտանիքի և հայ մարդու կերպարի առանձնահատկությունները, նպաստել սփյուռքահայ երիտասարդության ազգային գիտակցության ձևավորմանը և զարգացմանը, Հայաստան-Սփյուռք բարոյահոգեբանական, կրթամշակութային միասնությանը:

2016 թվականին նույնպես ակնկալվում է մինչև 1 հազար 100 պատանի սփյուռքահայի այցելություն Հայաստան: Երիտասարդները նախ կհյուրընկալվեն հայաստանյան ընտանիքներում, ապա իրենց հասակակիցների հետ կմասնակցեն «Արի տուն» ճամբարին: Ծրագրի իրականացման կազմակերպական աշխատանքում կներգրավվեն երիտասարդ կամավորները:

Սփյուռքի նախարարությունը կառավարությանն առաջարկել է հաստատել նաև «Իմ Հայաստան» համահայկական փառատոնի 2016թ. ծրագիրը և իրականացման միջոցառումների ցանկը: Նախագծի նպատակն է նպաստել Սփյուռքում հայ մշակույթի և մշակութային ինքնության պահպանմանն ու զարգացմանը, աջակցել Հայրենիք-Արցախ- Սփյուռք կապերի ամրապնդմանը, համագործակցության նոր ոլորտների ձևավորմանը, սատարել Հայաստանի և Սփյուռքի երիտասարդ ստեղծագործողների մշակութային կապերի սերտացմանը և համատեղ ծրագրերի մշակմանն ու իրականացմանը:
