Գևորգ Գյուլումյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Շատերը պնդում են, որ ԽՍՀՄ -ը լավ պատություն էր, շատերն էլ պնդում են՝ որ վատն էր: Ինչպես բոլոր պետությունները, այնպես էլ ԽՍՀՄ-ը ունեցել է իր լավ ու վատ կողմերը, պարզապես վատերն այնքան շատ են եղել, որ մի մեծ փոս են փորել ու թաղել լավերին:

ԽՍՀՄ-ում՝
ա.Անհատն իրավունք չուներ ծավալել ազգային-հայրենասիրական գործունեություն, դա իշխանությունների կողմից դիտվում էր որպես ազգայնամոլություն:
բ.Գրողն իրավունք չուներ թղին հանձնել այն, ինչ թելադրում էր միտքը, դա իշխանությունների կողմից դիտվում էր որպես հեղափոխական գաղափարախոսություն:
գ.Անհատն իրավունք չուներ սեփական բիզնես ունենալու, դա իշխանության կողմից դիտվում էր որպես «կուլակություն», այսինքն՝ շատ աշխատասեր մարդը պարտավոր էր համագործակցել ինչ-որ անբան ավանակի հետ:

դ.Ահնհատն իրավունք չուներ տանը, աշխատավայրում, անգամ զգեստի վրա կրել և ունենալ որևէ նշան, որ խոսում էր նրա էթնիկ ծագման մասին, դա իշխանությունների կողմից դիտվում էր որպես անարգանք դեպի պետությունը, այսինքն՝ հայը, քոչվոր-թափառական ադրբեջանցին և թյուրքական ցեղերի մյուս ներկայացուցիչներից՝ ղազաղստանցին, ալկոհոլիզմով տառապող ռուսը, կեխտի մեջ կորած տաջիկն ու ուզբեկը պետք է ունենային նույն դրոշն ու հիմնը, որը հայն ուներ:
Վերը նշված բոլորին անհատներին իշխանություններն արագորեն չեզոքացնում էին, քրեական գործեր հարուցում, այդ գործերից ոչ մեկը չեր կարճվում, իսկ մեղադրյալի կյանքը հաճախ «կարճվում» էր:

 


Գոնե հայերի համար, ԽՍՀՄ-ը չստացված պետություն էր:
Վանդալիզմ, աքսոր, սպանություններ, դավաճանի պիտակեներ և այլն, այս ամենը հեղեղի պես թափվեց հայ մշակույթի ու մտավորականության գլխին:
ԽՍՀՄ-ը ծաղկաքաղ արեց հայ ազգը, արևի տակ չորացրեց և քամուն տվեց այն, այդ ծաղիկներից շատերն այսօր գերեզման չունեն:
