Կյանքը մեզ սովորեցրեց լինել կասկածամիտ: Ամեն անգամ, երբ անծանոթը փորձում է մոտենալ մեզ, մենք մտածում ենք, ուրեմն մտքին մի բան կա: Հա կա մտքին մի բան, բայց մենք անպայման մտածում ենք մտքինը վատն է: Կյանքում պահեր կան, որ մենք հասունանում ենք վարկյան առ վարկյան, մենք ուրիշ ենք դառնում ամեն հաջորդ վարկյանին: Երջանկությունը, ծիծաղը, դրանք երբեք չեն փոխի քեզ, ավելին կթուլացնեն զգոնությունդ: Կավը մինչև կրակից մի կարգին կվառվի չի թրծվի:

Ես երբեք չեմ հասկանա են մարդկանց, ովքեր փորձում են փոխվել, դա նույնն է, որ վերցնես ծաղիկը ու սկսես պոկել նրանից մի քանի թերթիկ, կամ նորերն ավելացնես, որ քո ճաշակով մի բան ստանաս՝ արհետստական է, հորինված կլինի: Բանաստեղծները հորինեցին սերը, որ գրելու բան ունենան, հետո մարդիկ դրա մասին երգեցին, նկարեցին դա, հետո նաև գուցե զգացին, կամ համեմատեցին իրենց զգացածը դրանց հետ ու նմանություն գտան: Հոգով ստրուկին առաջնորդ կարգեցին ու բնավորությամբ լիդերին ստրկացիր ու կյանքը դուրս եկավ իր հունից: Շանը տար ու թող անտառում էլի շուն է՝ կհաչի, բեր տուն ու պահի հավատարիմ կլինի, հավատարիմ, բայց ոչ արքա: Առյուծին պահիր վանդակում՝ կխեխճանա, կտխրի, բայց չի ստրկանա, չի դառնա հավատրաիմ: Արծվի թևերը թե կապես, թե անգամ կտրես, մեկ է ճախրել գիտի:

Մենք երբեմն հորինում ենք մարկանց, երևույթներ ու հետո հիասթափվում ենք, որ դա չկա իրականում: Մենք ապրում ենք հավատալով, որ կգտնենք այն ինչ ուզում ենք ու կդադարենք ապրել, երբ դադարենք հավատալ: Կլինի այն ինչին դու հավատում ես, սպասում, երազում ու ձգտում:
