Եվրոպայի խորհրդի խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի կողմից ընդունված Սարսանգի ջրամբարի վերաբերյալ հակահայկական բանաձևը լուրջ նշանակություն չունի, սակայն քաղաքական առումով կարող է «գլխացավանք» դառնալ հայկական կողմի համար: Ռազմավարական և ազգային հետազոտությունների հայկական կենտրոնում կազմակերպված քննարկմանը նման կարծիք հայտնեց ԱԺ «Ժառանգություն» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Թևան Պողոսյանը: 

«Այս բանաձևը չի կարող լուրջ նշանակություն ունենալ այն իմաստով, որ մենք ունենք հզոր բանակ, որն իր դիրքերում ամուր կանգնած է: Սակայն քաղաքական իմաստով սա կարող է «գլխացավանք» դառնալ: Ադրբեջանը կարող է նման բանաձևերով հանդես գալ այլ խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովներում, նույն ձևակերպումները տանել այլ հարթակներ, կարող են գրքեր տպագրել համապատասխան հղումներով ու ցույց տալ, որ հայկական կողմից դիրքորոշումը ճիշտ չէ»,- ընդգծեց Պողոսյանը:

Նա ընդգծեց, որ Ադրբեջանը նման բանաձևերով հակամարտության կարգավորմանը հասնելու նպատակ չի հետապնդում: «Իրականում ես այն կարծիքին եմ, որ Ադրբեջանը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման միակ տարբերակը համարում է ռազմական ճանապարհը: Իսկ նման բանաձևերով նրանք ընդամենը ցանկանում են հղումների դաշտ ստեղծել: Եթե մենք հիմա նրանց ասենք եկեք Սարսանգի ջրամբարը համատեղ օգտագործենք, չեն համաձայնի, որովհետև դա նրանց չի հետաքրքրում: Նրանց ընդամենը հետաքրքրում են ձևակերպումները, որոնք հետագայում հնարավորություն կտան ռազմական գործողություններ սկսել»,- ասաց պատգամավորը:

Թևան Պողոսյանը կարևորեց նաև այն հանգամանքը, որ ԵԽԽՎ-ն մերժեց Ռոբերթ Ուոլթերի հակահայկական զեկույցը՝ հիշեցնելով, որ զեկույցների քննարկումից առաջ եղել էր ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի հայտարարությունը, որը հայկական կողմի արդյունավետ աշխատանքի արդյունք էր:
