Բազմիցս նշվել է, որ նախորդ տարվա տնտեսական ակտիվության աճին հիմնական նպաստ ունեցել է գյուղատնտեսությունը, որը ունեցել է 11,7 տոկոս աճ: Գյուղատնտեսության համախառն արտադրանքը կազմել է մոտ 1 տրիլիոն դրամ, որից բուսաբուծությունը ապահովել է 606,2 մլրդ դրամի, իսկ անասնապահությունը՝ 395,9 մլրդ դրամի համախառն արտադրանք: Այստեղ իր հերթին բուսաբուծութունը ապահովել է 15,2 տոկոս, իսկ անասնապահությունը՝ 6,1 տոկոս աճ (ԱՎԾ-2016):

Հանրապետության «ամենագյուղատնտեսական մարզը» Գեղարքունիքի մարզն է, որի գյուղատնտեսական համախառն արտադրանքը կազմել է 190,8 մլրդ դրամ, իսկ տեսակակար կշիռը կազմել է 19% ամբողջ գյուղատնտեսության արտադրանքի համախառն կառուցվածքում: Երկրորդ գյուղատնտեսական մարզը՝ դա Արմավիրն է՝ 180,5 մլրդ դրամ ծավալով և 18 տոկոս մասնաբաժնով, իսկ երրորդը՝ Արարատը՝ 134,8 մլրդ ծավալով կամ 13,5 տոկոս մասնաբաժնով: Իսկ մարզերից ամենափոքր գյուղատնտեսական մասնաբաժին ունեն (առանց Երևանի) ՝ Տավուշը՝ 4,6 տոկոս և Վայոց ձորը՝ 2,1 տոկոս մասնաբաժիններով համապատասխանաբար:

Նշենք, որ տարին բարեբեր է եղել նաև կաթնատվության ծավալների աճի առումով՝ առանց բացառությամբ բոլոր մարզերում կաթի արտադրության ծավալները աճ են գրանցել: Եթե կաթի արտադրությունը նախորդ տարվա հունվար-դեկտեմբերի համեմատ աճել է 4 տոկոսով, ապա ձվի արտադրությունը աճել է 2,8 տոկոսով: Կաթի արտադրության ծավալով ամենաառաջին մարզը՝ Գեղարքունիքն է՝ 135,1 հազար տոննա կաթով, իսկ ձվի արտադրությամբ՝ Արմավիրի մարզը՝ 141,9 մլն. հատ ձվով: Գեղարքունիքի մարզում ամենամեծ ծավալով իրացվել է նաև գյուղատնտեսական կենդանի և թռչուն, մսամթերքի ստացման նպատակով:

Ձկնորսության և ձկնաբուծության համախառն արտադրանքը կազմել է 27,8 մլրդ դրամ և այս ոլորտը իր հերթին ապահովել է 6,4 տոկոս աճ:

Գյուղատնտեսության բոլոր հիմնական մշակաբույսերի համախառն բերքը աճ է գրանցել նախորդ տարվա նույն ժամանակահատվածի համեմատ՝ հացահատիկ և հատիկաընդեղեն (8,1 տոկոս աճ), կարտոֆիլ (5 տոկոս աճ), բանջարեղեն (10 տոկոս աճ), բոստան (16,7 տոկոս աճ), պտուղ-հատապտուղ (35 տոկոս աճ), խաղող (18,9 տոկոս աճ): Ինչպես տեսնում ենք, հատկապես տարին բարեբեր է եղել պտուղ-բանջարեղենի և խաղողի բերքի համար:

Նախորդ տարի, Հայաստանում արտադրվել է 638 հազար տոննա հացահատիկ և հատիկընդեղեն: Դեռևս պարզ չէ, թե դրանից որքան է կազմում ցորենի բերքը: Ամենաշատ ծավալով հացահատիկ և հատիկընդեղեն արտադրել է Շիրակի մարզը (151 հազար տոննա ) և Գեղարքունիքի մարզը (141 հազար տոննա): Իսկ ամենաշատ կարտոֆիլ արտադրվել է Գեղարքունիքում՝ մոտ 363 հազար տոննա, որը կազմում է ամբողջ Հայաստանում արտադրված կարտոֆիլի մոտ 47 տոկոսը:

Արագածոտնի, Արմավիրի և Արարատի մարզերը միասին ապահովել են ամբողջ Հայաստանի պտուղ և հատապտղի բերքի ծավալների մոտ 72 տոկոսը: Նշենք, որ ամբողջ Հայաստանում 2015 թ.-ին արտադրվել է 392 հազար տոննա պտուղ և հատապտուղ:

Մյուս կարևոր գյուղատնտեսական արտադրանքի՝ խաղողի բերքի զգալի մասը, 84 տոկոսը արտադրվել է Արմավիրում և Արարատում: Իսկ, ամբողջ Հայաստանում արտադրվել է՝ 310,7 հազար տոննա խաղող:

Ամփոփելով նշենք, որ եթե անասնաբուծական մթերքների արտադրության ծավալով ամենաառաջատար մարզը Գեղարքունիքն է (բացի ձվի արտադրության ծավալով), ապա գյուղատնտեսական հիմնական մշակաբույսերից՝ պտուղի և հատապտղի, խաղողի և բանջարեղենի արտադրության ծավալով՝ Արմավիրը և Արարատը: Գեղարքունիքի մարզը առաջատար է նաև կարտոֆիլի արտադրության ծավալով, իսկ հացահատիկի և հատիկընդեղենի արտադրության ծավալով երկրորդն է հանրապետությունում: Այս երկու մարզերը միասին, ապահովել են նաև բանջարեղենի ծավալների մոտ 73 տոկոսը, որի ծավալները Հայաստանում կազմել է մոտ 1 մլն տոննա: Արմավիրը և Արարատը առաջատար են նաև բոստանի բերքի ծավալներով:
