 «Հարի Փոթերը եւ անիծյալ զավակը» գիրքը, որում բերված Է համանուն պեսի տեքստը, մտել Է Amazon ինտերնետ-խանութի բեսթսելլերների ցուցակը, հաղորդում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով The Guardian-ին: Այն վարկանիշի գագաթնակետին Է հայտնվել փետրվարի 10-ի նախնական վաճառքների մեկնարկից մեկ օրվանից Էլ պակաս ժամանակա միջոցում: Գրքի հրատարակումը նախատեսված Է հուլիսի 31-ին՝ փոթերապատումի գլխավոր հերոսի ծննդյան օրը:    

Գրահրատարակիչները հաջողությունը կապում են այն բանի հետ, որ պիեսը համարում են կանոնական մատենաշարի ութերորդ պատմությունը, այսինքն՝ դրա ուղղակի շարունակությունը: Այնտեղ գործողությունը տեղի Է ունենում վերջին վեպի իրադարձություներից 19 տարի անց, բայց փոթերապատումն ստեղծող Ջոան Ռոուլինգն ընդգծում Է, որ նոր գիրքը հենց պիես Է, այլ ոչ թե վեպ, այն գրել Է դրամատուրգ Ջեկ Թոռնն իր սյուժեի հիման վրա:
