ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի՝ Սիրիայի խնդրով հատուկ պատվիրակ Ստաֆան դե Միստուրան փետրվարի 16-ին Դամասկոսում հանդիպում Է անցկացրել Սիրիայի ԱԳ նախարար Վալիդ Մուալեմի հետ, որի ընթացքում քննարկվել Է պաշարված շրջաններին անարգել հումանիտար օգնություն հասցնելու հարցը:

Այդ մասին փետրվարի 16-ի Ժնեւում կայացած ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ հայտարարել Է ՄԱԿ-ի պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Ահմադ Ֆաուզին:

Դե Միստուրան «լրագրողներին մի քանի խոսք Է ասել» Մուալեմի հետ հանդիպման ավարտից հետո:

«Նա հայտնել Է, որ հանդիպմանն արծարծվել Է պաշարված բոլոր շրջաններին անարգել հումանիտար օգնություն հասցնելու հարցը, այսինքն՝ ոչ միայն նրանց, որոնք պաշարված են կառավարական զորքերի կողմից, այլեւ նրանց, որոնք պաշարված են ընդդիմության եւ ԴԱԻՇ-ի կողմից»,-ասել Է Ֆաուզին: 

Իր հերթին Վալիդ Մուալեմը հայտարարել Է այն պատժամիջոցները հանելու անհրաժեշտության մասին, որոնք ԱՄՆ-ի եւ Եվրամիության կողմից սահմանված են Դամասկոսի դեմ: 

«Անհրաժեշտ Է չեղարկել միակողմանի պատժամիջոցները, որոնք Սիրիայի դեմ սահմանվել են Միացյալ Նահանգների եւ Եվրամիության կողմից»,- Մուալեմի խոսքը մեջբերում Է SANA լրատվական գործակալությունը: Նրա խոսքով՝ ԱՄՆ-ի եւ ԵՄ-ի պատժամիջոցները «նպաստում են Սիրիայի ժողովրդի տառապանքների սաստկացմանը»,- հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
