Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի թեկնածու Արման Թաթոյանն Ազգային ժողովում հանդիպում է ունեցել «Ժառանգություև» խմբակցության ներկայացուցիչների հետ: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում «Ժառանգություն» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Ռուբիկ Հակոբյանը նշեց, որ հանդիպման ընթացքում տեղի է ունեցել բովանդակային զրույց: «Մեր հարցերը քաղաքական չէին, այլ, ըստ էության, ոլորտին վերաբերող հարցեր էին: Ես կարծում եմ, որ նրա պատասխանները համոզիչ էին»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ընդգծեց Հակոբյանը:

Նա հավելեց, որ հանդիպման ընթացքում շատ լուրջ քննարկում է տեղի ունեցել, սակայն խմբակցության ներկայացուցիչները դեռ չեն որոշել, թե ինչպես են քվեարկելու լիագումար նիստի ընթացքում: «Մենք ամեն ինչ թողել ենք լիագումար նիստին, որովհետև էլի հարցերի շրջանակ կա, որտեղ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի թեկնածուն պետք է ներկայացնի իր մոտեցումները: Դրանից հետո նոր խմբակցության անդմաները կորոշեն՝ ինչ դիրքորոշում ունենան քվեարկության ընթացքում»,- ասաց Հակոբյանը:

Ռուբիկ Հակոբյանը նաև ընդգծեց, որ վերջապես ընդդիմությունն էլ պետք է հասկանա, թե ինչպես է պետք աշխատել Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի հետ, քանի որ նրա գործունեությունը հիմնականում ծավալվում է հենց ընդդիմադիր դաշտում: «Մարդու իրավունքների նախորդ երեք պաշտպաններին էլ առաջադրել է քաղաքական մեծամասնությունը, և բոլորի դեպքում էլ հնչում էր այն կարծիքը, որ նրանք իշխանությունների դրածոն են, սակայն հետագայում պարզվել է, որ նրանք խնդիրներ են ունենում նաև իշխանությունների հետ: Ընդդիմությունը պետք է վերջապես հասկանա, որ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի գործունեությունը հիմնականում ընդդիմադիր ոլորտում է ծավալվում ու օգտվի դրանից»,- եզրափակեց Հակոբյանը:

Ազգային ժողովի պետաիրավական հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովը Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի պաշտոնում ԱԺ-ին ներկայացրել է Արման Թաթոյանի թեկնածությունը: Հանձնաժողովի 12 անդամներից Արման Թաթոյանի օգտին քվեարկել է 7 պատգամավոր: Զարուհի Փոստանջյանի թեկնածությանը կողմ էր քվեարկել 5, Նարեկ Ալոյանի թեկնածությանը՝ 2 պատգամավոր: Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի ընտրությունը տեղի կունենա առաջիկա քառօրյա նիստի ընթացքում:
