 Թուրքիայի մայրաքաղաքում փետրվարի 17-ի երեկոյան տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչության բացահայտման շրջանակում երկրի 7 նահանգներում իրականացվող գործողությունների արդյունքում ձերբակալվել է 14 մարդ: Ինչպես հաղորդում է  «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին տեղեկացնում է թուրքական «Անադոլու» գործակ ալությունը:

Ձերբակալվածների մի մասը բերվել է Անկարա, իսկ մյուս մասը կբերվի առաջիկա ժամերի ընթացքում: Թուրքիայի իրավապահ մարմինները շարունակում են գործողությունները մեղավորների բացահայտելու ուղղությամբ:

Թուրքիայի վարչապետ Ահմեդ Դավութօղլուն փետրվարի 18-ին տեղեկացրել է, որ հայտնի է  ահաբեկչությունն իրականացրած անձի ինքնությունը: Ըստ նրա՝ ահաբեկչական գործողության հեղինակը Սիրիայի քաղաքացի, 1992 թվականին ծնված Սալիհ Նեջարն է: Նա Սիրիայից փախստականի անվան տակ Թուրքիա է թափանցել անցյալ տարվա հուլիսին:

Ըստ թուրքական կողմի` Սալիհ Նեջարը հանդիսանում է Սիրիայում կառավարական ուժերի հետ համագործակցող քրդական «Ժողովրդական միություն» կուսակցության (PYD) և «Ժողովրդի պաշտպանության միավորումներ» կազմակերպության (YPG) մարտիկ:

PYD/YPG-ն Սիրիայի կառավարական ուժերին զուգահեռ «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման դեմ ակտիվ ցամաքային ռազմական գործողութունների մասնակից է:

Թուրքիայի մայրաքաղաք Անկարայում փետրվարի 17-ի երեկոյան տեղի է ունեցել ահաբեկչություն, որի հետևանքով զոհերի թիվը հասել է 28-ի,վիրավորների թիվը 61-ն է: Պայթյունը տեղի է ունեցել Թուրքիայի զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբից, ցամաքային, ծովային և օդային ուժերիհրամանատարության նստավայրերից, մեջլիսից, կառավարության կենտրոնական շենքից և ներքին գործերի նախարարությունից մոտավո րապես 200 մետր հեռավորությամբ: Զինվորական անձնակազմ տեղափոխող ավտոբուսը կարմիր լույսի տակ կանգնած է եղել, երբ մեկ այլականապատված մեքենա է պայթել այդ վայրում:
