ՈՃԻՐ ԵՎ ՊԱՏԻԺ

1965 թ. ապրիլին Խորհրդային Հայաստանում առաջին անգամ ոգեկոչվեց Հայոց Մեծ եղեռնի զոհերի հիշատակը: Միաժամանակ, հարեւան Ադրբեջանում, մասնավորապես Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Ինքնավար Մարզում, բարձրացավ հակահայկական հիստերիայի մի ալիք, որն սպառնում էր վերածվել ազգամիջյան ընդհարումների:

Լավ հասկանալով, որ հայոց ազգային զարթոնքը չի շրջանցելու նաեւ Արցախը, ադրբեջանի ղեկավար շրջանները փորձեցին ԼՂԻՄ-ում ստեղծել այնպիսի դժոխային իրավիճակ, որ հայերն ստիպված թողնեն ու հեռանան իրենց հայրենի եզերքից:

1965-66թթ. Բաքուն գործողության մեջ դրեց իր դիվային ծրագիրը: Շուշիում ու Աղդամում օրը ցերեկով հայեր սպանվեցին: Շուշիում խուժանը շինարարական մեքենաներով հողին հավասարեցրեց քաղաքի չորս հայկական գերեզմանատներն իրենց փառաշուք շիրմաքարերով, խաչքար-կոթողներով: Բոլոր դեպքերում հանցագործները մնում էին «անհայտ»:

Մարտակերտի սովխոզի պահակներից մեկին, նրա կնոջն ու երեխաներին վառեցին պահականոցում: Մարտունու շրջանի Նորշեն գյուղի երկու տրակտորիստներին սպանեցին գիշերավարի ժամանակ, իսկ Կուրոպատկինո բնակավայրում հոշոտեցին գլխավոր ագրոնոմին: Ամիսներ անց էլ սպանեցին հաջորդ ագրոնոմի՝ Բենիկ Մովսիսյանի 9-ամյա որդուն:

Պարզվեց, որ վերջին երկու դեպքում սպանությունների կազմակերպիչը գյուղի դպրոցի տնօրեն Արշադ Մամեդովն է: Դպրոցի թուրք պահակի օգնությամբ երեխային քարշ էին տվել, մտցրել նկուղը եւ խոշտանգել: Նրան սպանել էին գլխին մեխեր խփելով:

1967 թ. հուլիսին, Ստեփանակերտի ամառային զբոսայգու տարածքում, սկսվեց Մամեդովի բաց դատավարությունը: Գազանը դատապարտվեց ընդամենը 10 տարվա ազատազրկման: Լսելով դատավճիռը, նրա կինն ու հարազատները սկսեցին բացականչել. «Արշադ, տաս օր էլ չես նստելու», «քո կշռով մեկ ոսկի ենք ծախսել, դու հանգիստ եղիր...»:

Այդ ժամանակ, դատավարության ներկա ժողովուրդը հարձակվեց, պահակներից խլեց հանցագործին, նրա գործակցին եւ մի երրորդ սրիկայի, ով փորձում էր պաշտպանել Մամեդովին: Երեքին էլ այրեցին այգում սարքած խարույկի վրա...

Թեեւ մարզի թրքությունը սսկվեց, սակայն Բաքվում տենդորեն շարունակում էին փնտրել Արցախն արագ կերպով հայաթափելու նոր մեթոդներ:
