ՀՀ տրանսպորտի և կապի նախարար Գագիկ Բեգլարյանը փետրվարի 26-ին հանդիպել է Ասիական զարգացման բանկի (ԱԶԲ) Կենտրոնական և Արևմտյան Ասիայի տարածաշրջանի նորանշանակ գլխավոր տնօրեն Շոն Օ’Սուլլիվանին: Հանդիպմանը ներկա է եղել նաև Հայաստանում ԱԶԲ գրասենյակի նորանշանակ ղեկավար Շեյն Ռոզենթալը:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ տրանսպորտի և կապի նախարարության լրատվական ծառայությունից, Գագիկ Բեգլարյանը ԱԶԲ պաշտոնյային շնորհակալություն է հայտնել արդյունավետ համագործակցության համար և կարևորել համատեղ իրականացվող ծրագրերը:

Նախարարը նկատել է, որ Հյուսիս-հարավ ճանապարհային միջանցք ներդրումային ծրագրի առաջին տրանշի աշխատանքների բարեհաջող ավարտը հետագա գործակցության համար երկուստեք կարևոր նշանակություն ունի:

Ասիական զարգացման բանկը համաֆինանսավորելու է նաև Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը Վրաստանի հետ կապող Մ6 Վանաձոր-Ալավերդի-Վրաստանի սահման շուրջ 90 կմ ընդհանուր երկարությամբ հիմնական տարանցիկ մայրուղու շինարարությունը:

Գագիկ Բեգլարյանը նշել է, որ ՀՀ տրանսպորտի և կապի նախարարությունը ցանկանում է այս ճանապարհի կառուցման համար հայտարարվող միջազգային մրցույթներին մասնակցելու հնարավորություն տալ նաև տեղական շինարարական կազմակերպություններին: Նախարարը պարզաբանել է, որ նման մեծ ծրագրերում հայկական ճանապարհաշինական ընկերությունների ներգրավումը կխթանի Հայաստանի Հանրապետության տնտեսության զարգացմանը և հրաշալի հնարավորություն կլինի տեղական ընկերությունների համար, որպեսզի նման մեծածավալ աշխատանքների փորձ ձեռք բերեն և զարգացնեն իրենց հնարավորությո ւնները:

Գագիկ Բեգլարյանը վստահեցրել է, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում կան միջազգային չափանիշներին համապատասխանող՝ նյութատեխնիկական բազա և մասնագիտական բարձր պատրաստվածությամբ անձնակազմ ունեցող ճանապարհաշինական կազմակերպություններ:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են նաև Հյուսիս-հարավ ճանապարհային միջանցք ներդրումային ծրագրին վերաբերող առանցքային կարևորություն ներկայացնող մի շարք այլ հարցեր:

Հանդիպման ավարտին կողմերը շնորհակալություն են հայտնել փոխադարձ վստահության և արդյունավետ աշխատանքի համար՝ հույս հայտնելով, որ ճանապարհաշինական աշխատանքներին ԱԶԲ-ի ներգրավումը հետագայում ևս կնպաստի Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում ճանապարհային ենթակառուցվածքների հիմնանորոգման խնդիրների լուծմանը:
