Հայաստանը վերահաստատում է պատրաստակամությունը՝ ընդլայնել և ամրապնդել Եվրամիության հետ համապարփակ համագործակցությունը փոխադարձ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող բոլոր ուղղություններով՝ նկատի ունենալով երկրի պարտավորություններն այլ ինտեգրացիոն ձևաչափերում: ՀՀ նախագահական նստավայրում լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանն այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը՝ ամփոփելով ԵՄ բարձր ներկայացուցիչ Ֆեդերիկա ‪‎Մոգերինի ի հետ հանդիպման արդյունքները:

«Հիմնվելով ընդհանուր արժեքների վրա` մենք շարունակելու ենք մարդու իրավունքների և օրենքի գերակայության խթանումը, արդյունավետ կառավարման կատարելագործումը, կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարը, ժողովրդավարական հաստատությունների, քաղաքացիական հասարակության ամրապնդումը: Ողջունում ենք Եվրոպական հարևանության քաղաքականության վերանայման գործընթացը, որը նկատի է առնում գործընկերների նկատմամբ տարբերակման սկզբունքը»,- ասաց նախարարը։

Նալբանդյանը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց ԵՄ-ին՝ տարիներ շարունակ ցուցաբերվող աջակցության համար, ինչը նշանակալի դեր է խաղացել Հայաստանում բարեփոխումների իրականացման և ինստիտուցիոնալ կարողությունների ամրապնդման գործում։ «Մեր հարաբերությունների իրավական հիմքի քննարկումներին զուգահեռ՝ հայկական կողմը Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի համապատասխան մարմինների հետ ներգրավված է ԵՄ տարբեր նախաձեռնություններում մեր մասնակցության վերաբերյալ բանակցություններում»,- եզրափակեց նախարարը:

ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարը հավելեց, որ Հայաստան - Եվրոպական միություն հարաբերությունները գտնվում են բարձր մակարդակի վրա և ունեն խոստումնալից հեռանկարներ։
