 Exxon Mobil-ը դարձել Է ԱՄՆ-ի առաջին նավթընկերությունը, որն սկսել Է նավթ արտահանել երկրից: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է Արմենպրեսը՝ հղում անելով Bloomberg գործակալությանը, նավթի առաջին խմբաքանակն ուղարկվել Է ընկերության՝ Սիցիլիայում (Իտալիա) տեղակայված սեփական գործարանում մշակելու համար:

«Exxon Mobil-ը նավթ Է ուղարկել Սիցիլիայի նավթավերամշակման իր գործարան»,- գրում Է գործակալությունը՝ վկայակոչելով հարցին ծանոթ աղբյուրի եւ մի քանի թրեյդերների:

Մինչ այժմ նավթի արտասահմանյան երկրներին նավթի մատակարարումներն իրականացնում Էին միայն անկախ թրեյդերները: Այժմ նրանք փորձում են նվազեցնել նավթի պաշարների ավելցուկն ԱՄՆ-ի շուկայում, որը գոյացել Է, այդ թվում՝ ամերիկյան նավթի արտահանման՝ 40 տարի գործող արգելքի պատճառով:

2015 թվականի դեկտեմբերին ԱՄՆ-ի Կոնգրեսն ընդունել Է 2016 թվականի համերկրային բյուջեն, որում դրույթ Է ամրագրվել ամերիկյան նավթի արտահանման արգելքի չեղարկման մասին: Այն սահմանվել Էր 1975 թվականի Էներգետիկական ճգնաժամի շրջանում, որն առաջացել Էր Մերձավոր Արեւելքի հակամարտության հետեւանքով: Մինչ այժմ ԱՄՆ-ի ընկերություններն արտասահման Էին ուղարկում միայն նավթավերամշակման արգասիքներ, այդ թվում՝ բենզին, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
