Կանանց միջազգային օրվա՝ Մարտի 8-ի առթիվ, Կարեն Դեմիրճյանի անվան Երեւանի մետրոպոլիտենի «Հանրապետության հրապարակ» կայարանի սպասասրահում բացվել է «Կինը՝ քաղաքային տնտեսությունում» խորագրով լուսանկարների ցուցահանդեսը: Երեւանի քաղաքապետարանի նախաձեռնությամբ՝ Երեւան քաղաքի պատմության թանգարանի հետ կազմակերպված ցուցադրությանը ներկայացվել է  խորհրդային շրջանից մինչ մեր օրերը ամենատարբեր ոլորտներում կնոջ զբաղվածության ու դերի մասին պատմող 32 լուսանկար:

Երեւանի քաղաքապետարանի մամուլի ծառայությունից հայտնում են, որ ցուցանմուշները Երեւանի պատմության թանգարանի լուսանկարների հավաքածուի պահոցից, ինչպես նաեւ տարբեր անհատների ու կազմակերպությունների կողմից տրամադրված աշխատանքային լուսանկարներ են: Հանդիսավոր բացումն ազդարարել ու իրենց երգերով կանանց շնորհավորել է ՀՀ ՊՆ Սպայի տան «Զորական» համույթը:

Միջոցառմանը ներկա են եղել քաղաքապետարանի աշխատակազմի մշակույթի եւ տուրիզմի վարչության պետ Ռուբեն Հովհաննիսյանը, Երեւան քաղաքի պատմության թանգարանի տնօրեն Արմինե Սարգսյանը եւ բազում հրավիրյալներ: Պատասխանատուները բացման խոսքում նշել են, որ միամսյակի առթիվ անակնկալները կշարունակվեն, եւ համայնքային թանգարանները եւս հանդես կգան հետաքրքիր ցուցադրություններով:
