Ավելի քան 2,4 մլն եմենցի անցյալ տարվա մարտի վերջից ի վեր Եմենում զինված հակամարտության սրման ընթացքում ստիպված է եղել լքել իր տունը: Այդ մասին երեքշաբթի հաղորդվել է ՄԱԿ-ի Փախստականների հարցերով գերագույն հանձնակատարի վարչության (ՓԳՀՎ) եւ  Միգրացիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության (ՄՄԿ) համատեղ հայտարարության մեջ:

«ՓԳՀՎ-ի եւ ՄՄԿ-ի ղեկավարած աշխատանքային խմբի` բնակչության տարաբնակեցման վերաբերյալ զեկույցի համաձայն, 2015-ի մարտի վերջին Եմենում հակամարտության սկզբնավորումից ի վեր մոտավորապես  2 430 178 մարդ ներքին տեղափոխման է ենթարկվել», - նշում են այդ կազմակերպությունները: «Չնայած դեկտեմբերից ի վեր, երբ հրապարակվել էր խմբի նախորդ զեկույցը, տեղափոխված անձանց թիվը որոշ չափով նվազել է (2,5 մլն-ից), այն շարունակում է ապշեցուցիչ կերպով բարձր մնալ, ինչը մեծ անհանգստություն է առաջացնում», հաղորդում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:

ՓԳՀՎ-ն եւ ՄՄԿ-ն  եմենյան հակամարտության կողմերին կոչ են արել մարդասիրական կազմակերպություններին մուտք տրամադրել մարտերից տուժած շրջաններ, որտեղ ամենից շատ են հարկադիր տեղահանվածները:  Այժմ ամենից շատ հարկադիր տեղահանվածներ կան Թաիզի  (ավելի քան 555 հազար), Հաջայի (ավելի քան 353 հազար), Սանայի (մոտ 254 հազար), Ամրանի (մոտ  246 հազար) եւ Սաադայի (մոտ  238 հազար) նահանգներում: Ընդ որում, Սաադային, Սանային եւ Ամրանին է բաժին ընկնում ներքին տեղահանված բնակչության ամենամեծ տոկոսը.  համապատասխանաբար` 33, 21 եւ 20, ասված է հայտարարության մեջ:
