Ազգային ժողովի նորընտիր պատգամավոր Կարեն Շահմուրադյանը խոստանում է ակտիվ պատգամավորական գործունեություն ծավալել, իսկ մնացած հարցերին բովանդակային պատասխան տալու համար ժամանակ է խնդրում: Ազգային ժողովում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ՀՅԴ խմբակցության պատգամավորը վստահեցրեց, որ չի լինելու ընդամենը «կոճակ սեղմող&raquo ; պատգամավոր: «Ես ակտիվ պատգամավորական գործունեություն եմ ծավալելու, դա կարող եմ խոստանալ: Իսկ մնացած հարցերին պատասխանելու համար ես ժամանակ եմ խնդրում, քանի որ նոր եմ մանդատ ստացել: Ես ընդգրկված եմ Ազգային ժողովի կրթության, տարածքային կառավարման և մարդու իրավունքների մշտական հանձնաժողովներում: Այս պահին ծրագրերի մասին չեմ կարող խոսել, որովհետև նոր ընտրված պատգամավոր եմ: Ինձ ժամանակ տվեք, ես կպատախանեմ բոլոր հարցերին մեկ ամիս հետո»,Արմենպրես-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ նշեց Շահմուրադյանը:

Նա նաև վստահեցրեց, որ պատգամավոր ընտրվելուց հետո դադարեցնում է զբաղվել բիզնեսով, քանի որ դա արգելված է օրենքով: «Հայտնի  է, որ Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավորն օրենքով այլ գործունեությամբ զբաղվելու իրավունք չունի: Հիմա, բնականաբար, ես բիզնեսով չեմ զբաղվելու: Ոչ մեկի համար գաղտնիք չէ, որ մենք այդ բիզնեսը ժառանգել ենք: Բիզնեսի մեջ ես ու եղբայրս ենք: Հիմա բիզնեսով կզբաղվի իմ եղբայրը»,- ասաց Շահմուրադյանը:

Կարեն Շահմուրադյանը դրական է վերաբերվում ՀՀԿ-ՀՅԴ համագործակցությանը: Նա նշեց, որ երկու քաղաքական ուժերի համագործակցության համաձայնագրում հստակ նշված են երկրի սոցիալ-տնտեսական քաղաքականության բարելավման ուղղությունները, որոնց շուրջ էլ կողմերը համագործակցելու են: Նա չհամաձայնեց լրագրողներից մեկի դիտարկման հետ, թե համաձայնագրում ընդամենը գեղեցիկ բառեր են գրված, որոնք վստահություն չեն ներշնչում: «Ես կարծում եմ, որ մենք ապագայում կտեսնենք՝ վստահություն ներշնչում են, թե ոչ: Եթե կողմերը կարողանան համերաշխ աշխատել, ես այդտեղ որևէ վաÕ ¿ բան չեմ տեսնում»,- ընդգծեց պատգամավորը:

Նա հերքեց մամուլում շրջանառվող խոսակցությունները, թե ինքը կլորիկ գումար է վճարել ՀՅԴ համամասնական ցուցակում հայտնվելու համար: «Ես չեմ հասկանում, թե ինչո՞ւ ես պետք է գումար վճարեմ համամասնական ցուցակում հայտնվելու համար, եթե գործարար եմ, ինչպես դուք եք ասում: Ինչո՞վ կարող է այդ մանդատը օգնել ինձ իմ բիզնեսը բարելավելու հարցում: Ես ինձ չեմ համարում անհաջողակ գործարար, ով կարիք ունի հայտնվել Ազգային ժողովում ու իր ոչ այնքան լավ վիճակում գտնվող բիզնեսը կարգավորելու լծակներ գտնել: Ես նման խնդիր չունեմ: Մեր բիզնեսի հետ կապված՝ ամեն ինչ նորմալ է, չնայած ճգնաժամ կա, բոլորս էլ դժվարանում  ենք, սակայն ես որևէ խնդիր չեմ տեսնում»,- եզրափակեց Կարեն Շահմուրադյանը:
