ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը մարտի 14-ին ընդունել է Բելգիայի եւ Ֆլանդրիայի խորհրդարանականների պատվիրակությանը, որը Հայաստան այցից հետո լինելու է նաեւ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությունում:

Ինչպես տեղեկանում ենք ԱԺ փոխնախագահի աշխատակազմից, ողջունելով հյուրերին՝ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը բարձր է գնահատել հայ-բելգիական եւ հայ-ֆլանդրիական խորհրդարանականների դերը երկկողմ հարաբերությունների զարգացման գործում: Նա վստահություն է հայտնել, որ այս այցը եւս խթան կհանդիսանա՝ էլ ավելի զարգացնելու եւ խորացնելու բարեկամական հարաբերությունները:

ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Ֆլանդրիայի խորհրդարանի փոխնախագահ Կարլ Վենլաուվեին՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի միջոցառումներին եւ «Ընդդեմ ցեղասպանության հանցագործության» գլոբալ ֆորումին մասնակցելու եւ ելույթի համար, ինչպես նաեւ՝ Ֆլանդրիայի խորհրդարանի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը դատապարտող բանաձեւի ընդունման, Բելգիայի խորհրդարանին՝ Ցեղասպանության դատապարտման վերաբերյալ դիրքորոշման վերահաստատման համար: Կարեւորելով ցեղասպանությունների դատապարտման հարցում երկակի ստանդարտների մերժումը եւ ցեղասպանությունների միջազգային դատապարտումը՝ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը նշել է, որ չդատապարտվող ոճիրները, ինչպես ցույց է տվել անցած հարյուրամյակի պատմությունը, ծնում են նոր ոճիրներ: Նրա խոսքով՝ Թուրքիայի ժխտողական քաղաքականությունը սպառնալիք է ոչ միայն տարածաշրջանի, այլեւ ողջ մարդկության համար, ինչի վկայությունն են այսօր Մերձավոր Արեւելքում տեղի ունեցող իրադարձությունները:

Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել պատվիրակության անդամներին՝ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետություն այցելելու պատրաստակամության համար եւ այն համարել լավ առիթ՝ սեփական աչքերով տեսնելու զարգացող ժողովրդավարությունը: Նա վերահաստատել է, որ Հայաստանը ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորումը տեսնում է բացառապես խաղաղ ճանապարհով՝ հիմնված միջազգային երեք սկզբունքների՝ ժողովուրդների ինքնորոշման իրավունքի, տարածքային ամբողջականության եւ ուժի կամ ուժի սպառնալիքի չկիրառման վրա, որոնցից առաջին երկուսն Ադրբեջանը մշտապես մերժում է եւ խեղաթյուրելով խնդիրը՝ փորձում է տարբեր բանաձեւեր անցկացնել տարբեր միջազգային կառույցներում:

Ֆլանդրիայի խորհրդարանի փոխնախագահ Կարլ Վենլաուվեն պատվիրակության անունից շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ջերմ ընդունելության համար եւ տեղեկացրել, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ այցելությունն ունի հստակ նպատակ. նախատեսվում է իրականացնել ծրագիր, ըստ որի ֆլամանդական եւ Ղարաբաղի մի շարք դպրոցներ կհամագործակցեն ու կիրականացնեն մի շարք աշխատանքներ: Ինչպես նշել է Կարլ Վենլաուվենը, դա կլինի բարեկամ Ֆլանդրիայի փոքրիկ քայլը՝ Ղարաբաղը դուրս բերելու շրջափակումից:

Անդրադառնալով ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության հարցին՝ Ֆլանդրիայի խորհրդարանի փոխնախագահն իր եւ գործընկերների անունից կարեւորել է մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանությունը եւ այս համատեքստում՝ Ղարաբաղի ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման իրավունքը:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձել են երկուստեք հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող այլ հարցերի, կարեւորել սփյուռքահայության դերակատարությունը երկկողմ հարաբերությունների զարգացման հարցում:
