Օսկանյան Վարդանը, որը ժուկով-ժամանակով ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարն էր, համատեղության կարգով նաև Քոչարյան Ռոբերտի «ներքին մութ գործերի», իսկ վերջիններիս թվում՝ Մարտի մեկի ոճրագործության ամենաակտիվ պարտակողը, կուսակցություն է «բացում»։ Կուսակցության ստեղծման հայտարարությունից անմիջապես հետո Օսկանյան Վարդանը շեշտում է, թե իր կուսակցությունը կապ չունի Քոչարյանի կամ նրա վերադարձի հետ։ Այլ բան չէր էլ կարելի սպասել, քանզի Օսկանյան Վարդանը նախ և առաջ ասոցացվում է Քոչարյան Ռոբերտի ու Մարտի մեկի հետ։ Իսկապե՞ս է նախկին արտգործնախարարը ձգտում փախչել իր քոչարյանական անցյալից, թե՞ ոչ, առանձնապես էական չէ, քանի որ Օսկանյան Վարդանը, Քոչարյանը Ռոբերտը և ներկայում իշխանական լծակների մոտ գտնվող շատ-շատերը մարտիմեկյան հանցագործությունը կազմակերպած ու խմբագրած «նավակի» մեջ են։

Ինչպիսի ընդդիմադիր կլինի Օսկանյան Վարդանը դժվար է պատկերացնել, ինչքանով նա կարող է խմբագրել Մարտի մեկին իր խաղացած դերը, նույնպես դժվար է պատկերացնել։ Կա՞պ ունի արդյոք Օսկանյան Վարդանի «բացվելիք» կուսակցությունը Քոչարյանի հետ, թե՞ ոչ, նույնիսկ էական էլ չէ։ Էականն այն է, որ Քոչարյանն ուղղակի չի կարող վերադառնալ։ Ներկայում ժամանակ առ ժամանակ անընդհատ շրջանառության մեջ է դրվում Քոչարյանի վերադարձի թեզը։ Ընդ որում՝ վերադարձի թեման մշտապես առաջարկում են քոչարյանական աղբյուրներն ու փսևդոլրատվամիջոցները։

Հանուն արդարության պետք է նշենք, որ հայաստանյան քաղաքական և տնտեսական իրականության պայմաններում լիովին տրամաբանական է Քոչարյանի վերադարձի ցանկությունը, քանի որ իր նախագահության տարիներին սույն անձնավորությունը իր ընտանիքով և կլանով կուտակեց միլիարդների հասնող կարողություն և տնտեսական ռեսուրսներ, իսկ հայաստանյան տնտեսության պայմաններում ցանկացած անհատի տնտեսական և ֆինանսական հնարավորությունների անվտանգությունը երաշխավորված է միայն քաղաքական կյանքում որոշակի դերակատարություն ունենալով։

Այս տեսանկյունից պետք է ասել, որ Քոչարյանի պարագայում առկա է որոշակի նոնսենս, քանի որ վերջինս և´ երկրում ընթացող քաղաքական գործընթացների, և´ ինչ-որ տեղ նաև Սերժ Սարգսյանի վարած քաղաքական ինչ-ինչ կուլիսային զարգացումների արդյունքում գրեթե մեկուսացած է քաղաքական դերակատարությունից։ Նման պայմաններում հասկանալի է, որ Քոչարյանը մշտապես պետք է շոշափի տրամադրություններ, եթե ոչ քաղաքականություն վերադառնալու, ապա գոնե թեկուզ այլ քաղաքական ուժերի միջոցով միջնորդավորված կերպով քաղաքական գործոն դառնալու նպատակով։

Արդյո՞ք Օսկանյան Վարդանը և նրա ստեղծած կուսակցությունը կծառայեն նման գործիք Քոչարյանի համար, թե՞ ոչ, իսկապես էլ դժվար է ասել։ Սակայն միանշանակ չի կարելի նաև ժխտել նման հնարավորությունը քանի որ ԲՀԿ-ի ոչնչացումից հետո Քոչարյանի ձեռքից խլվեց հայաստանյան քաղաքական կյանքում թեկուզ և միջնորդավորված կերպով դերակատարություն ունենալու կարևոր գործիքներից մեկը։
