Վերջին երկու օրերի քննարկումները ցույց են տվել, որ Հայաստանի քաղաքական օրակարգում առաջնային հարցը ընտրական օրենսգրքի ընդունումն է: Այս մասին Ազգային ժողովում հայտարարությունների ժամին ասաց ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:

«Ողջունելի է, որ բոլոր քաղաքական ուժերը, գոնե խորհրդարանում ընդգրկված քաղաքական ուժերը դրական են գնահատում նոր ընտրական օրենսգրքի ընդունման անհրաժեշտությունը և կարևորո ւմ են Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում ընտրական գործընթացի բարելավումը»,- նշեց նա:

Շարմազանովը վերահաստատեց, որ ընտրական նոր օրենսգրքի ընդունման նպատակը մեկն է՝ բարձրացնել ընտրության որակը, բարձրացնել հանրության մոտ վստահության մակարդակը ընտրության ընթացքի և արդյունքների նկատմամբ: «Արդար և թափանցիկ ընտրություններն առաջին հերթին անհրաժեշտ են մեզ համար»,- հավելեց ԱԺ փոխնախագահը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ բնական է, որ ընդդիմության որոշ ներկայացուցիչներ պետք է քննադատեն, որոշ ընդդիմադիրներ և պետք է քննադատեն, և կառուցողական առաջարկներ ներկայացնեն ու նաև կլինեն մարդիկ, ովքեր կխոսեն խոսելու համար: «Սա է քաղաքականության կանոնը: Սակայն մեր խնդիրն է՝ որպես իշխանություն, լսել բոլորի կարծիքները և հաշվի նստել դրանց հետ: Իշխանությունն ունի քաղաքական կամք, և իշխանությունն է ընտրական օրենսգրքի բարեփոխուման հեղինակը: Փետրվարի 12-ին հանրապետության նախագահի ծրագրային ելույթից հետո Հայաստանն այլևս ապրում է նոր քաղաքական իրողության պայմաններում: Մենք դրել ենք նշաձողը և պետք է բոլոր ոլորտներում ձգտենք հասնել այդ նշաձողին: Բարեփոխված ընտրական օրենսգրքի ընդունումը դրա համար լավագույն քննությունը կլինի: Ուստի մենք ևս մեկ անգամ վերահաստատում ենք, որ պատրաստակամ ենք առանց բացառության աշխատել բոլորի հետ»,- ասաց Շարմազանովը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ եթե իշխանության դաշտում ամեն ինչ հստակ է, ապա ընդդիմությունը բազմաշերտ է: «Եվ մեզ համար դժվար է որևէ քաղաքական ուժի առանձնացնել, քանի որ այստեղ կան գործիչներ, ովքեր հանդես են գալիս ու առաջարկներ են ներկայացնում ողջ ընդդիմության անունից, բայց մենք որևէ խտրականություն չենք դնելու և պատրաստ ենք աշխատել թե խորհրդարանական, թե արտախորհրդարանական բոլոր քաղաքական ուժերի հետ»,- եզրափակեց ԱԺ փոխնախագահը:
