Ուկրաինական դեպքերից հետո Արևմուտքը բազմաթիվ պատժամիջոցներ է կիրառում Ռուսաստանի դեմ: Ի՞նչ ազդեցություն կարող է ունենալ Ռուսաստանի դեմ կիրառվող պատժամիջոցները Հայաստանի տնտեսության վրա, նման իրավիճակում ի՞նչ կարող է տալ ԵՏՄ-ին Հայաստանի անդամակցությունը ORER.am-ը զրուցեց «Պոլիտէկոնոմիա» հետազոտական ինստիտուտի տնօրեն, տնտեսագետ Անդրանիկ Թևանյանի հետ: Ըստ տնտեսագետի` Հայաստանի տնտեսական խնդիրները պայմանավորված են ներքին տնտեսական քաղաքականությամբ.«Հայաստանի տնտեական խնդիրները պայմանավորված են ներքին գործոններով: Անկախ այն հանգամանքից` Հայաստանը Ասոցացման ճանապարհը կընտրեր, ԵՏՄ-ն, թե ինտեգրացման ոչ մի ճանապարհով չէր գնա, միևնույնն է Հայաստանի խնդիրների մեծ մասը պայամանավորված է ներքին գործոններով ու վարվող տնտեսական քաղաքականությամբ»: Անդրնիկ Թևանյանի խոսքով` տնտեսական բացասական հետևանքները Հայաստանը զգալու է այնքան ժամանակ մինչև ներքին խնդիրները չլուծվեն: Եվրասիական տնտեսական միությանն անդամակցելու և Ռուսաստանի տնտեսությունից կախվածության հետևանքով սպասվող հնարավոր հետևանքների մասին տնտեսագետն ասաց.«ԵՏՄ-ին անդամակցելու մասով տնտեսական սպասումների մասին դեռ ոչինչ հստակ չէ, սակայն բան հստակ է` Արևմուտքից կիրառվող պատժամիջոցներն անուղղակիորեն ազդելու են Հայաստանի տնտեսության վրա, քանի որ Հայաստանի տնտեսությունը կախված է Ռուսաստանի տնտեսության հետ: Վերջիվերջո ՀՀ բազմաթիվ քաղաքացիներ աշխատում են Ռուսաստանում և այնտեղից տրանսֆերներ են ուղարկում: Այդ առումով Հայաստանն անուղղակի կերպով պատժամիջոցների բացասական հետևանքները կզգա: Ինչ վերաբերում է համաձայնագրի հետևանքով առաջացող խնդիրներին, դրանք դեռ պետք է փաստաթղթային առումով մանրամասն ուսումնասիրել, ճշտել և նոր գնահատական տալ»: Բեթղեհեմ Արաբյան
