Ադրբեջանն ակնհայտորեն անտեսում է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների կոչերը և զինադադարի խախտումները դադարեցնելու քայլ անելու փոխարեն ավելի է սրում իրավիճակը: ՀՀԿ ԳՄ նիստից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում այս մասին ասաց ՀՀԿ խոսնակ, ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:

«Դա ընդունելի չէ, դատապարտելի է: Մենք տարբեր միջազգային կառույցների ներկայացուցիչների հետ հանդիպումների ժամանակ մշտապես նշել ենք, որ դա անթույլատրելի է: Գոնե անընդունելի է, որ թե Հարության տոնին, թե Նովրուզին ընդառաջ ադրբեջանական կողմը  ոչ միայն չընդունեց հրադադարը խստորեն պահպանելու Անջեյ Կասպրշիկի կոչը, այլ ավելի լարեց իրավիճակը»,-  նշեց Շարմազանովը:

Նա հավելեց, որ միջազգային կառույցներն էլ պետք է իրենց հայտարարություններում առավել հասցեական գնահատականներ հնչեցնեն և տեսնեն, թե ով է իրականում խախտում զինադադարը և ով է իրականում ցանկանում խնդրը լուծել ռազմական ճանապարհով:

ԵԱՀԿ գործող նախագահի անձնական ներկայացուցիչ Անջեյ Կասպշիկը մարտի 18-ին հայտարարությամբ է հանդես եկել՝ կոչ անելով հայկական և ադրբեջանական կողմերին պահպանել հրադադարի ռեժիմն առաջիկա տոների՝ Նովրուզ Բայրամի և Զատկի ընթացքում: Դրան հաջորդել է ՀՀ ՊՆ հայտարարությունը, որ Հայաստանը պատրաստ է խստորեն պահպանել հրադադարի ռեժիմը, եթե Ադրբեջանը նույնպես դրական արձագանքի Կասպշիկի կոչին: Գործող նախագահի անձնական ներկայացուցչի կոչին հաջորդել է նաև Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների և ԵԱՀԿ-ում Գերմանիայի նախագահության հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Գերնոտ Էրլերի կոչը` նույն ուղերձով` տոներին խստորեն հարգել հրադադարի ռեժիմը: Ադրբեջանը, սակայն, շարունակում է լարված իրավիճակի հրահրումը ԼՂ-ի հետ շփման գծում` կրակելով նռնականետերից:
