Մի քանի օր առաջ iPhone 6 Plus-ը վաճառքի հանվեց։ Մարդիկ օրերով հերթ էին անգնում և մեծ ոգևորությամբ գնում նոր սմարթֆոնը, սակայն օրեր անց iPhone 6 Plus-ի որոշ տերեր սկսեցին բողոքել, որ հեռախոսը ծռվում է, եթե այն երկար ժամանակ մնում է գրպանում։ Այլ օգտաերեր էլ սկսեցին լուսանկարներ տեղադրել սոցցանցերում՝ հեգնանքով շնորհակալություն հայտնելով Apple-ին դյուրաթեք դիսփլեյով հեռախոսի համար։ «hanzoh» մականվամբ ներկայացող մի օգտատեր նշոել է, որ 18 ժամ պահել է սմարթֆոնը գրպանում։ Գրեթե ողջ ընթացքում նա նստած է եղել մեքենայում։ Երբ հետագայում հանել է հեռախոսը, նկատել է, որ դրա դիսփլեյը թեք է։ Բարակ դիզայնով iPhone 6 Plus հեռախոսների արտադրման համար օգտագործվում է ալյումին։ Ալյումինն այնքան էլ կարծր մետաղ չէ։ Այն շատ այլ մետաղներից ավելի դյուրաթեք է։ iPhone 6 Plus-ի դեֆորմացումից խուսափելու համար սմարթֆոնի տերերը պետք է հոգան, որպեսզի հեռախոսի մեջտեղի հատվածի վրա ճնշում չգործադրվի։ Եթե հեռախոսի կենտրոնական մասը շատ է սեղմվում, դիսփլեյը աղավաղվում է։ Խորհուրդ չի տրվում այս iPhone-ը պահել անդրավարտիքի գրպանում կամ պայուսակում։ Քիչ հավանական է, որ iPhone-ը վնասվի, եթե այն պահեք ծոցագրպանում, սակայն մենք խորհուրդ կտայինք առհասարակ գրպանում չպահել բջջային հեռախոսը, քանի որ որոշ աղբյուրների համաձայն դրանից արձակվող ճառագայթումը կարող է բացասաբար անդրադառնալ առողջության վրա։ Խորհուրդ է տրվում iPhone-ը պահպանել հեռախոսի պատյանում։ Նոր iPhone-ի շուրջ բարձրացված աղմուկը հակասական արձագանքների է արժանացել։ Թեպետ սոցցանցերում հիմնականում բուռն քննադատություն է հնչում Apple-ի հասցեին, սակայն որոշ օգտատերեր էլ նշում են, որ բարակ դիզայնով ցանկացած այլ սմարթֆոն էլ կճկվեր ու կդեֆորմացվեր, եթե այդքան երկար ժամանակ պահվեր գրպանում։
