 Իրանը չպետք Է անտեսի ԱՄՆ-ից բխող սպառնալիքը: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է Սրմենպրեսը, հայտարարել Է Իրանի ղեկավար եւ հոգեւոր առաջնորդ այաթոլլա Ալի Խամենեին՝ Թեհրանի մզկիթներից մեկում ելույթ ունենալով լսարանի առջեւ:

«ԱՄՆ-ը, որի քաղաքականությունը հիմնվում Է ուժի եւ հարստահարման, տնտեսական եւ մշակութային ճնշման վրա, չի հրաժարվել Իսլամական Հանրապետությանը եւ երկրի ժողովրդին  հարված հասցնելու իր ձգտումներից, եւ Իրանը չպետք Է անտեսի այդ իրողությունը»,-ԻՌՆԱ գործակալությունը մեջբերում Է Իրանի առաջնորդի խոսքը, որը Վաշինգտոնին մեղադրել Է Իսլամական Հանրապետության նկատմամբ «թշնամական վերաբերմունքը» շարունակելու մեջ:

«Իր նպատակներին հասնելու համար Միացյալ Նահանգներն օգտագործում Է այնպիսի գործիքներ, ինչպիսիք են տնտեսական փոխանակման սահմանափակումը, պատժամիջոցները, ռազմական սպառնալիքները: Մենք պետք Է ի վիճակի լինենք դիմակայելու նրան եւ պաշտպանելու մեր շահերը»,-ասել Է Ալի Խամենեին:

«Ես ինչպես երկրի հրթիռային հզորության ամրապնդման, այնպես Էլ բանակցությունների՝ որպես միջազգային փոխգործակցության գործիքի՝ կողմնակիցն եմ»,-իր տեսակետն Է հայտնել Իրանի առաջնորդը: «Իսլամական Հանրապետության առջեւ ծառացած խնդիրների լուծման համար անհրաժեշտ Է օգտագործել նրա տրամադրության տակ եղած բոլոր հնարավորությունները»,-ասել Է Խամենեին, ընդգծելով, որ «Իսլամական Հանրապետության աճող ռազմական հզորությունը վճռորոշ նշանակություն ունի պետության անվտանգությունն ու կայուն տնտեսական զարգացումն ապահովելու համար&r aquo;, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
