Դեռևս հայտնի չէ, թե ԼՂՀ շփման գծում որքան կտևի լարվածությունը, սակայն Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեբ Թայիփ Էրդողանն արդեն շտապել է ցավակցել Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իրլամ Ալիևին:

Ադրբեջանի նախագահի մեծ եղբոր կողմից ցավակցություն հայտնելու մասին լուրն ադրբեջանական մամուլը շրջանցել է, բայց թուրքական մամուլի կողմից հաղորդված այդ տեղեկությունը թույլ է տալիս ենթադրել, որ իրականում հակառակորդի վիճակը բավականին լուրջ է:

Ինչ վերաբերում է ԼՂՀ-ում տիրող իրավիճակին, ապա «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանին տված հարցազրույցում ԼՂՀ վարչապետի մամուլի քարտուղար Արտակ Բեգլարյանը նշել է, որ այս պահին Ստեփանակերտում շարունակվում է կամավորների հոսքը: Նրանք ընդամենը ցուցակագրվում են, որպեսզի անհրաժեշտության դեպքում մեկնեն առաջնագիծ, իսկ հայկական երկու գյուղի կորուստի վերաբերյալ ապատեղեկատվության մասին նա նշել է. «Քանի դեռ Ադրբեջանի նախագահը սելֆի չի արել հայկական հողում, ուրեմն պետք է հասկանալ, որ հայկական գյուղերի կորուստների մասին տեղեկությունները ապատեղեկատվություն է և դրանց պետք չէ հավատալ»:

Նրա տեղեկացմամբ` այս պահին դեռևս զորահավաքի մասին նախագահի հրամանագիր չկա, քանի որ ՊԲ-ը լիովին վերահսկում է իրավիճակը, իսկ կամավորների ցուցակագրումը ընդամենը կազմակերպչական բնույթ ունի` հետագայում կազմակերպված գործելու համար:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Ադրբեջանի նախահարձակ գործողությունների հետևանքով հայկական կողմը ունի 18 զոհ, իսկ վիրավորների թիվը մոտ 35 է:
